Before this I tried the human style ones, they work for a while but after few weeks they break internally from the dog rough use. Now this one is way stronger, you cant feel the internal wired so they are obviously protected, also the conector is fixed so it can get disconnected mid night like the humans ones. The paw print are extra cute. My lady is not a professional model but we do our best to get a nice shot. ... show more

The Large Heating Pad is very comfortable for my cat. It's a good size for my mane coon and tabby to share and makes sure they stay warm. Also a plus that I can easily clean it if needed. The chew-resistant cord gives me peace of mind. My cats sure appreciate it, especially on colder days.

I'm either using the settings wrong or the item I got is defective. It works great...when it works. I can turn it on, set the temp, set it for 12 hours before bed but in the morning it's cold. My poor pup has been curled up in a ball. I've tried it multiple nights and I think it's only worked through the night on one of them. Sometimes I turn it off and turn it back on to reset it in the middle of the night and it's still doesn't heat up. My mat also occasionally displays "TCT" on the controller which is not at all mentioned in the item description, pictures, or in the instructions that came with the mat. Very nice dog bed for my dog that has arthritis. Also the warmth is just right not too hot to hurt them. Also quality is good made very sturdy and you can just away stains that get on the dog bed. I would highly recommend this to everyone.
