Easy to open, which is great when it's raining. I also used it like a parasol to keep the sun away and can cover myself and my kiddo. I purchased this product for security purposes. I have only had two opportunities to use the umbrella and it is already broken. The winds were maybe 10-13 MPH on the first use and the whole umbrella turned inside out. This was an instant disappointment as it is advertised as high wind resistant. So after the umbrella inverting I was able to pop it back in place. I though okay maybe this is a decent product until today. While taking a walk in 8 mph winds and lots of rain one of the arms have busted. I attempted to piece it together unfortunately it appears a chunk is missing (I'm assuming from the multiple inversions) I think moving forward a heavy rain coat is my better option moving forward. ... show more

Got this because my dog is a princess and she doesn’t go outside in the rain to use the bathroom so when it’s raining, I use this umbrella. Only thing is it’s still not big enough. I think I need to go to a golf umbrella because I am using it over her more so than me. Lol the umbrella does have good starting though in wind and rough rain situations and the open enclosure mechanism button works great and does the job correctly every time I’ve used it.
