I love pearl jewelry and was delighted to find these modern designed gold and pearl earrings. My ears are sensitive to a lot of the metals in costume jewelry but the gold plating over brass was non irritating even after wearing all day. The earrings are less than an inch high and only about a quarter inch wide. They do not feel heavy or cause your ear lobes to droop. The backing is encased by a soft silicone layer that allows a snug fit on the post to stay secure while still being gentle against your skin (see second photo). The yellow gold is true to color and matches my solid gold jewelry. The faux pearl has a nice sheen to it giving the look of a real pearl. I wore these to work in an office setting and received compliments from coworkers both younger and older than myself. I feel like they are a contemporary take on a classic style that remains elegant. These earrings are a great choice for someone who appreciates a modern twist on a classic style. They are versatile enough to go from daytime to an evening out making them a great addition to your jewelry collection.

I am always on the lookout for the perfect pearl earrings that is more than just a simple single pearl. These gold pearl earrings include a diagonal slash of metal to enhance the large pearl earring. The name states that it is a crisscross design, but the line is only in one direction. The backings are not my favorite, being plastic but they are made better than some I have seen. I like the fact that the earrings are mirror images of each other. The gold is a lovely shade. The earrings have cultural pearls which look great considering this reasonable price. I also like the fact that these have 925 silver needles while being nickel-free, lead-free. These earrings are attractive unique pearl earrings just what I was hoping to find. 4.5 Stars

These are lovely earrings, and look exactly as pictured. They are nicely finished, well packaged and include two sets of backings. I do not believe, however, these are “…cultured pearls, ensuring they will not fade over time” as stated in the About This Item description section of the listing. They fail both quick tests for a natural pearl, feeling cool to the touch and slightly gritty when rubbed gently against the tooth. While that is a disappointment, they are still lovely, and I will wear them gladly.

Ear shape is really important with this pair of earrings. They are beautiful upon first glance but it doesn't quite look as good as I hoped it would. When the pearls are inward they absolutely look weird but when I set the pearls outward it doesn't sit right either. I like the size of the pearls and the backing is nice that they rubberized the metal part. It has a modern look to classic pearl earrings but with my ear shape, drop pearl earrings would probably look best. I'll be giving these away but only because they really don't look good on me.

Artistically designed earrings featuring a curved gold colored metal form that hugs the earlobe, finished with a dangling pearl. The pearls are rather large so they may not look real, but in spite of this, the design is creative and looks great for everyday wear. It is noteworthy that one of the backings of my earrings didn’t have a proper hole drilled into it, so when I tried to push the backing onto the post, the post bent slightly. I moved the post back with no issues. Then I immediately used one of my own backings, and it fit perfectly. So please don’t force your earring if the backing cannot be easily applied. Bottom line: I love the creative design of these earrings and they are priced fairly.

I like the way these earrings look, and I like the originality of the design. I did note that is a bit of a different process to put them on. Because of the shape, you have to push the post into your piercing while simultaneously tucking your earlobe into the shape of the earring. If you don't get the lobe tucked in there, the post feels like it will not go through the ear far enough to get the back on. It is not that the post is not long enough, it is. You just have to get the right angle. The seller provided two different earring backs, so you can choose the style that you prefer. These are a rather understated earring, featuring the sculptural gold half-hoop and a single cultured pearl, suitable for daily wear or a more formal occasion.

Where do I start? Well, first of all there is nothing more special then giving your wife jewelry often, as it makes her happy and she feels good wearing it. Also, it shows that I am thinking of her and that I appreciate her. This does not tarnish, which is a big deal when you are dealing with jewelry that is not solid Gold. It is a different design and not your common run of the mill design. Elegant.
