The media could not be loaded. This was a surprise success story. I'm a dude and wanted something I could use easily in the shower to get rid of some rough and dry skin around my elbows. You'll see in bigger that they improved about 90 percent. This goes on very smooth and didn't irritate and of my body. I use on my arms and elbows and legs and knees and my feet. All of my skin looks healthier now. After 3 weeks I can tell you this works and it's priced very, very affordably. I'm going to get this regularly as it's worth it. I never detected any scent and it's really moisturizing after I'm out of the shower. I hope this helps!

I have keratosis pilaris and was looking for an alternative product to help me with my skin condition. It can be a little cumbersome to apply salicylic acid to my arms every day in the shower for 2min before rinsing it off. What I like about this product is that it is fragrance free and I can just apply it in the morning and or evening in a matter of seconds. It has modest activity for me, and will clear up 60% of my KP (similar efficacy as salicylic acid for me). Please note that everyone’s KP will respond differently to the different products out there (this product vs salicylic acid vs 20% urea vs lactic acid). For me, this was a cheap option and worth a try. Overall I’m pleased to be able to use this product to get rid of some of my KP with little effort.

I've had keratosis pilaris for YEARS on the back of my upper arms -- lots of small reddish bumps that look a lot like a rash, but don't really itch. I was self-conscious about it for as long as I've had it, and I hated how my arms looked and felt. My dermatologist prescribed a routine where I'd have to essentially "scrub" my bumps with Amlactin and an exfoliating cloth, take a shower, and then apply steroid cream. The remedy did work, but my skin always felt raw and sensitive because of what had to be done, so I stopped after a couple of weeks because it just didn't feel worth it. I actually came across this lotion after googling more remedies for my condition, and honestly didn't have much hope that it would do anything. However, I was happily proven VERY wrong! Like many other skincare products, YOU MUST BE CONSISTENT AND PATIENT. This is NOT a FAST remedy, but it IS effective. I had to use this nightly for about a month to see a true difference, but overall I'm truly impressed. The discoloration of my skin is greatly reduced, and the amount of bumps I have is nearly zero. You DO need to use sunscreen where you use the lotion, but it's worth it. Overall, I'd recommend giving this a chance. My stubborn skin surprisingly took to this very well, and the jar has lasted me over 3 months and going strong.

10/10 would recommend. This lotion is some kind of magic. It absorbs into my skin so nicely. It doesn't just sit on top of the skin and I don't get that oily or sticky feeling after I put it on, like a lot of other lotions. I usually put it on sometime before I go to bed and by the time I wake up, it's like I have brand new skin in the dry, rougher areas that I apply this lotion to. My skin is so smooth and clear. It helps with any redness from dryness and it genuinely makes my skin feel so naturally soft and smooth. It's definitely worth the price!

I have used Gold Bond products in the past. They are good products but I haven't found any that were unscented. So I never bought more. I took a chance buying this huge tub of lotion. And it is big. I ordered anyway. I am amazed at the cream. It is more like a lotion when you apply it. Thin when it's applied, which I like. Not like working paste into your skin. I bought it for a problem area on my elbow and arm. Before long I was putting it on my feet, the next day on my hands, and then last evening on my face. What a wonderful cream. Usually when I use a lotion or cream I have to go wash my hands and face as I can "feel" it and find it annoying. Not this product, it actually felt good. It soothed my burning hands, calmed the patch on my arm and elbow and my face feels like silk the day after the nighttime use. Now this is a new product to me, so I will attempt to give you an update in about a month. My husband has very dry feet, so I told him he should give it a try, as a very high end product I bought for him feels good, but isn't doing anything to improve his situation. You should at least give it a try if you are looking for an all around good lotion or cream. I buy a high end cream at the beauty counter at a high end department store (or can be found a major beauty stores). I love it but find it costly, this tub of cream worked just like that and felt just as good. I was near the point of reordering but think I will continue the use of Gold Bond Ultimate Rough and Bumpy Skin Daily Therapy Skin Cream and see what happens. It would cost me thousands of dollars to fill this 8 oz. tub with the product I was using on my face. So far so good and am surprised at my reaction to this product. I did know Chattem, Inc. was a very old company and thought this might really be a good product, but took a chance when I bought it. From my short term experience, I don't think you can go wrong with this product. It does have a slight smell, which I can't smell, but my husband says it is very mild and non offensive. I usually use unscented products due to chemical sensitivity problems. I am able to use this without it making me ill or just finding the smell offensive.
