I loved these things. I had to look surprisingly far for coasters that: - Were heavy enough not to stick to the drinking glass - Had a lip to keep condensation from spilling pointlessly onto the furniture - Neutral color to match anything - Tasteful design While this was a surprisingly long search, I finally found all these features in these delightful little coasters. The only improvement I might make is including some little rubber adhesive feet to the bottom as they can slide just a bit, but in fact its never really been an issue. These are top notch and perfect for me, and tastefully attractive to boot. The weight and lip around the edge a really practical assets and for the life of me, I can't figure why they arent on every coaster. Without both these features, coasters are a pain and useless. You need that lip to collect condensation and you need weight to keep them from sticking to the glass when you pick your drink up. The neutral elegant design are just icing on the cake.

1st these are really nice, 100% crystal not sure, but may have some crystal in them as texture and tone is above normal glass. I was handling one of mine and later notice with my finger tips it was chipped. because of the etching I missed that little chip. I believe also from experience glass does not chip that way, if it were all glass that ding would have had a hairline crack from it and sharp edges, the chip was smooth and I needed magnifying glass to really see it with all the light diffraction. Second my use was for coasters for my crystal candle holders, and I recently found they make a great lid for my coffee mug to keep it hot; perfect fit. I'll sand the edges and keep them since they are nice and functional. Just be sure to check them thoroughly.

If you think you’re getting a great deal on genuine Crystal coasters, please don’t be fooled. These are 100% glass. Not crystal. Which is OK because they are very pretty and surprisingly durable! We have had them about a year, have accidentally dropped them and none of them have even so much as chipped. Easy to clean with warm soapy water. They still look good as new!! The worst thing about these is that sometimes cups with ice stick to them, and since the coasters themselves have some weight to them, they usually end up crashing onto the table and it’s loud! No broken coasters so far though!!! I bought these while on major sale (I think $5.99 for 4) and overall I am happy with this purchase.

Set of 4 packed in a very nice protective cardboard box I kept in case I would move in somewhere else these coasters are great for all occasions, formals or not. Personally, I use them whenever we eat to protect the wooden table or linen tablecloth from wine stains, which is to say one coaster for each glass plus another one for the bottle. "Nicy", shiny, kitschy but always elegant in whatever circumstances, these coasters are super resistant and so easy to clean that you wonder why you bought the silver metal ones that are time consuming and will never look as good as they used too... One of my relatives bought a few glasses from Godinger a long time ago she still uses and they look great. Famous brand known for its crystal Godinger products are so classical that they going through time and fashion currents without taking a wrinkle. I just wish the company was sometimes more innovator in terms of design (as far as I am concern I would have preferred plain crystal coasters), but sincerely, I am very happy with this purchase. Moreover, it is the perfect refined present to offer to yourself or somebody else without ruining yourself. Great product, great price, great choice!

I have purchased multiple sets of these coasters because they look nice, feel weighty, and can accommodate larger based mugs. These crystal coasters have the largest base of all that I have purchased or researched. Inexpensive but nice quality. We have a lot of European antique furniture, leather topped desks where we use our home office computers, and a lot of house guests and dinner parties too. After seeing white rings on a special antique french walnut coffee table in our family room following a round of company, I set out on a quest for the perfect coasters. Obviously the old sets had failed. These are perfect! The diameter is big enough for those large coffee mugs and water canisters too. Something that has always been a challenge. They do not fit inside one another when stacking, but you can place them in stacks of two. Works fine for us. The packaging is nice enough as well, so we wrapped them up to give out as hostess gifts after wine or dinner parties as well.

I actually really LOVE these coasters (So far). I bought them for 5.99 and boy was that a deal. Out of all the coasters i have bought online & in store..this is the best-- in quality and in price. I got this at a huge bargain in my opinion. Thank you Amazon! It is soo beautiful, the pictures don't do it justice. Sturdy. Easy to clean. Definately giftable. I wish though that perhaps the ends of the coaster were a bit higher/elevated, that's all. We will see how they stand up to the test of time. I wish i had bought these than the more expensive white marble looking ones on amazon that are already peeling off and not easy to clean. So glad I found these :)!
