Containers are lightweight but hold a lot and seal very well. Bought them to replace heavy, bulky glass containers that were taking up too much space. They are beautifully designed and elegant in my opinion. Packaging is very substantial. I noticed that the wet surface is not slippery when washing.

Color and grain were not consistent. Even when ordering a replacement, the product was not consistent in color or grain as advertised but we selected the best 3 out of 6 available and sent the original back. Other than that, the height is fine, the glass is thin, and the seal function seems to work (no ants so far). I wish it were a bit wider to allow hand & scoop to maneuver better. I wanted/use this for my (white sugar, brown sugar and ground coffee) coffee station. I haven’t applied stickers yet. ... show more

We've been reorganizing our kitchen and have started using canisters and containers to store portions of our most often used staples like rice and sugar where they are more accessible on the kitchen counter. I ordered these glass and wood storage containers with that plan in mind. I also liked the idea that I could see contents more easily through the transparent glass thus aiding in quick visual identification. The three 50 oz containers arrived nicely packaged and thankfully in perfect condition. As I was unboxing them I noticed that each of the lids had a different color tone and I loved the individual look it gave them. We put rice and cornmeal and organic sugar in them and they have been working out just fine. The lids fit fairly snugly and will keep out anything unwanted but they are easy enough to open that I don't think they are 100% airtight. The included labels are a nice little bonus. Overall I'm satisfied with the product. The containers are handy to have and fit in nicely with pretty much any kitchen décor. They hold quite a bit and the uniform sizing makes the kitchen look nice and tidy which is what I was going for when I ordered the set... ... show more

I purchased these items last month. Just sitting on the table a nd two have spontaneously broken. concerned that the glass is less than safely durable if breaks just sitting on the counter. Would not buy.
