What an absolutely breathtaking down and I am not wanting to order stuff like this, considering my age and what not but you never know when a wedding is gonna come up or anything else and you need to have something nice in the closet or if you’re like me and you have a daughter and you’re surrounded by nieces and stuff who may have a prom and they need a dress and they all wear around the same size as you it’s good to keep things like this around. This thing is extremely well-made and what surprise me the most is that exact point right there because I can remember even in the 90s and early 2000s going to prom and homecoming and shopping for things like this with my mom and we would spend hundreds of dollars on these things and come back and they would have the cheapest zippers and absolutely no support and just be very cheaply made however, in this case, this is very nice silky, soft fabric very nice zippers very amazing. Fit it as long as you read the size chart you should get your right fit in other words and the color is breathtakingly beautiful whether I wear this to a social engagement or whether my daughter or one of my nieces where is it to something they have going on one of us promises to look beautiful in this because it is just so much nicer than anything I’ve seen in the department stores and again that just completely caught me off guard because I usually think that the stuff in the stores is gonna be nicer than what you can find online but once again, proven wrong!!! this dress is a beauty and if you’re in need of a homecoming or prom dress look no further this is an easy blind by you will get a quality item. I got this because I liked the halter style and it looked elegant enough for summer evening dinners out. The first thing I noticed when I tried it on was that the description says double lined, but that is only for the bust area. The rest of the dress is single layered satin. Luckily, the satin is thick and high quality, so it is mostly opaque. The white is a true neutral white, not cream or ivory. It is cut well and the side zipper is smooth. What works well is the fit. I sized up from a medium to a large and I am glad I did. The large fits me comfortably. I am 5 foot 4 with a 34C bust and 29 inch waist. The halter neck is adjustable and the backless cut is dramatic but secure. The slit hits right at my upper thigh, enough to show leg without being too much. One thing to be aware of is that the dress is lined only through the bust. The rest of the dress is single layer. For me, the thick satin made it work, but if you are worried about sheerness, go with another color. I try to order white as often as possible, because it's so hard to find an actual opaque white garment, so I take one for the team so to speak. In this case, it worked out! I think this dress is best for anyone who wants an elegant satin maxi and is comfortable with the limited lining. Overall the quality is good, the fit is flattering, and the white is beautiful. This is a beautiful elegant dress that we picked up for a spring charity event. I received lots of compliments on it and it complemented my figure very well. It's breathable and very flowy. It's comfortable against the skin and not too clingy but form fitting. It feels luxurious too, my partner complimented me on the texture and softness. The dress doesn't wrinkle or crease easily and it's very versatile in its appearance. A little formal for something casual but perfect for an evening out or even a formal event. So I am absolutely thrilled over how good this dress looks IRL. The fabric is nice thick satin, and the back is cut high enough that it can still be worn with a strapless bra! For those who know… undergarment selection can be one of the most difficult hurdles when it comes to eveningwear, but im ultra stoked that this isn’t another problem i have to solve for. So my caveats are that the material has VERY little to no give, so I ordered my normal “safe” size, meaning that when I’m having skinny days, I know I CAN go another size down usually… but this was definitely on the smaller size. Definitely closer to a US size 4 than a US size 6. Also, I’m only 5’1” so dress length is always an issue, although with this, the hem felt perfect for my height. Green shade was so pretty and deep, and the dress construction was very simple but felt very flattering and easy/comfy to wear. ... show more

This is a very nice dress that is super soft and silky. The length is great for me as I’m taller but may require some bigger heals if you’re on the shorter side. The fit is nice and very flattering but the neckline is a bit off and looks to be a bit uneven (see pic). The back of the halter top is a bit adjustable but there’s nothing you can really do in the front part. The fabric is also nice but seems to fray very easily. Other than that, it is still a nice dress and a good value at this price point, but just be aware of the few items pointed out here. ... show more
