    • Good compressor
This was a warranty replacement compressor for one that I ordered several months ago. The compressor this one replaced was leaking refrigerant underneath the pulley area. I detected with a sniffer, as the system would not hold a charge shortly after installation. The compressor was still under warranty and Amazon made the warranty return a breeze. The new compressor works well and is quieter than the last one. I would give 5 stars but the previous compressor leaked, so ACDelco is good, but they do have quality escapes. ... show more

    • ACDelco 15-20206 Warranty Went Missing.
I expect the ACDelco 15-20206 a/c compressor to perform well on my 1986 Camaro Z28, but buyers should print out this amazon page with the warranty information at time of the order. This Amazon page list a 12 month / 12,000 mile warranty, but a warranty card or document was not included in the shipment. The warranty is not listed on the "order details" or on the "invoice" either. I found a warranty statement on acdelco.com that I also printed. I would have given a 5-star rating if warranty information had been include in the shipment. ... show more

    • Compare all the replacement compressor connections with the original compressor.
The information on the amazon computer site said that the replacement compressor I ordered would fit my 1988 Chev Astro LS van. My van has one multi grooved belt to drive the compressor, alternator, water pump with a belt tensioner pulley which is driven from the engine. The replacement compressor has a single groove pulley which means it will fit a vehicle that has more than one belt. The second problem is the compressor clutch electrical connections are in a different place than the original. On the replacement compressor, the clutch electrical plug connections end up behind the compressor mounting cradle which makes it impossible to plug in the wiring harness to energize the clutch. ... show more
