Description

ACDelco GM Original Equipment A/C Accumulators are used in A/C systems with an orifice tube metering device. The accumulator is located between the evaporator and the compressor, and serves to capture and store excess liquid refrigerant. This prevents liquid refrigerant from entering the compressor where it can damage the compressor. This GM Original Equipment A/C Accumulator is a GM-recommended replacement component and has been manufactured to fit your GM vehicle, providing the same performance, durability, and service life you expect from General Motors.

I really wanted the black version to keep my engine compartment looking clean. But somehow GM has broken the laws of science and went back to silver on these. It’s still well made.

I haven't installed yet but looks to be original gm part. Maybe? However, it isn't black like the picture and description. I will probably just use it and I am sure this is what they are counting on.

Perfect fit for my 87 Chevy C10. It was an exact replacement to the stock one I had. It’s not black like picture, it is the same shape and color as the stock unit. Comes with 2 o-rings for inlet/outlet but does require the low-pressure fill port and sensor fittings and appropriate seals.

It is raw aluminum finish, not painted. That does not bother me but is worth noting. Seals, packaging, fittings are all top notch.

    • Mine came silver and not painted black as the picture shows.
Quality and all is fine but it is silver and not black. The original in my Buick Grand National had a black Crinkle finish so I will have to paint this one to make it look like Original Equipment.
