I ordered the Transperant version of this shelf lliner to put into my new pantry cabinants. I had recently painted them and of course didn't want them getting all messed up. I specifically bought this liner for no other reason than it being the cheapest I could find per square foot that still served my needs. The liner is quite thin but seems adaquate. This liner specifically has a flat side and a ridged side. The thinnest it is inside of the ridge vally is 0.32mm and the thickest at the peak of the groove is 0.67mm. For reference a human fingernail is about 0.5mm. So this is slightly thicker than a nail, and also slightly thinner depending on where you measure. However even being so thin it seems to be fairly durable. I can say I have confidence nothing is going to easily gouge it and damage stuff underneath. The length was supposed to be 17.5in, mine was just a touch over that. So they are not undersizing there products which is nice. The 30ft seems correct with the leftover amount I have too, although I didn't actually measure it. I specifically got mine without any adhesive underneath. Not much point protecting the shelves if the protector destroy them when removing. However the mats are supposed to be non skid/slip so that should be no problem right? Well... Kinda... The mat ridged side down does actually work great for not slipping on the shelves. However the edges curl up bad as that is how the the roll was rolled and makes the mat basically unusable like that. It might eventually settle after awhile but after a day of sitting it still was pretty bad. I suspect you'll probably need to heat it (Hairdryer) to get it to relax fully. Then the other way with the flat side down (which doesn't curl up the edges) the 'Non Slip' is poor. The mat without any weight or a little weight on it can easily slid around when setting in or removing dishes. However if you do have some weight on it, then it starts working quite decently. Seeing as mine will always have an item or two on the shelves this is a non-problem. The easiest way I found to cut it is using a paper cutter which I show in the included video. Makes the job take a fraction of the time. Even if the cutter is a bit to small it can be finished with scissors or flipped on the paper cutter and cut from the other direction. Another thing about the clear shelf liner I noticed is that it seems to work nice as a diffusion material. Could be used to create so interesting light columns as I show in my pics with my lamp. Or just as a flat diffusion filter in general. One thing to keep in mind though this thing does have a lot of static and likes to pick up and hold onto hair, dirt and so forth. Anyways in conclusion the clear mat I bought is fine. It's a good value and the product works even if it might be a little thin and not as non skid as implied. It is the size it supposed to be. I have nothing to really complain about. Hopefully this is all helpful information to you. Thanks.

I ordered several different types of shelf/drawer liner and this is by far my favorite. It looks much better than the photos on the product page, which makes the black lines appear faint, but it's not...it's a sharp solid black. It's very easy to cut straight because the material doesn't fight you like some of the bumpy ones I bought. It has a shiny, clean look and it's easy to slide things on the surface. As I expected, there's no adhesive. Upon immediate placing in my drawers it does lift a little in the middle because it was rolled up but I think it's going to flatten out no problem...once you place anything on it, it goes flat. It is not flimsy -- it feels substantial, even though there was 20 feet on the roll (much more than some of the others I bought which were bulkier yet flimsier). I like it!

I had an ant infestation in my pantry so had to clear everything out. I had been using the foam type of shelf liner with the little holes in it. This worked great in cabinets on wood but stuck to the paint in my pantry. I had to work hard at getting the remains of it off the shelves and I didn’t want to deal with that again! I looked at different kinds of liners and read reviews. I decided to try this and am so glad I did! Love the pattern- it looks lovely on my shelf! It was so easy to cut- you can slide the scissor right up one of the valleys between ridges. As other reviewers noted, the paper gets curly toward the end of the roll but if you turn it the other way for a few and then put heavy items on it once in the pantry, it will lay flat. Easy to apply, easy to cut, doesn’t stick to pain, and looks great! Love it!

I have old cabinets from the 60s that have seen a lot. I wanted to cover up the discolored wood with something a little prettier then the mesh liners. This one really is great. It appears very water proof, time will tell if it'll hold up to gentle chemicals when cleaning. The color is accurate to what was advertised. It was a b!+€h to size correctly. After the first few I got my groove, but my cuts were never perfectly straight. Please note, these don't have Adhesive. Make sure you order something so they aren't curling up on the shelves. I got Adhesive dots from a well known glue brand, they didn't stick well to my cabinets. I have 3m on the way to further secure. Great find, thanks for the product
