As a tall girl, the whole short jeans thing (which has lasted WAY longer than it should have) is beyond stupid. I like to have my ankles covered, thank you. I've been waiting YEARS for jeans to lengthen, but the idiocy persists. These jeans are comfy and fit well. I like the GV brand and appreciate that they're affordable. My only problem was that the size guide was off by a size. According to the guide, I needed a size 16, but they were too big. 14 was just right.

I feel like the color ages me a bit lol (tan) They are comfy; a little stretching occurs during wearing- not too much not too little. Just enough for them to be perfectly comfy. True to size and fit for me. They were LONG enough too! I actually had to take a pinch off the bottom- maybe 1-2”. But I don’t mind, bc I tend to be just outside the regular inseam length for some store bought jeans sometimes 33” inseam is perfect for me.

I have been purchasing Gloria's Amanda tapered fit jeans since the late 1990's. I have noted this past year, one pair had a label that says they were 'made in China'. That pair had to be returned for being extremely too tight. I normally wear ladies' size 12 or 14 depending on how the jeans are made. I noted this pair of jeans are made in Vietnam which is fine for they fit just a shade loose and I personally like the extra quarter inch around the thighs and waist areas. These are very comfortable, a great price, a nice color and made very well. I must have about 10 pairs of Gloria's Amanda jeans in various colors and I love them all. I highly recommend this jean if not made in China.

I purchased two pairs in 18 short. I am only 5’2” but I am a very curvy lady (no matter my size at time) so often I feel like the rise in petites can be too short. These fit perfectly, at waist, hips and thigh without being too long. Often if the pants fit my hips, the waist is too big and I either have to alter them or wear a belt and at my age, I really don’t like wearing belts. I discovered the capris this spring and ended up buying 5 pairs in different colors and shades of denim so I know these will wear well after being laundered. So, I am now purchasing for fall/winter. Today I received Dusty Dune (a pale gray, blue, green color) which I knew I was taking a chance on but really like the color as it will pair well with many things. I also received Rinse Noir (a really dark denim). Prior to this I had purchase a Black pair. These are very clean and classic in their tailoring so it will be easy to dress them up or wear casually and they have just enough stretch to make them comfortable for all day wear yet they still hold their shape. I have found that if you watch, you can get them for 50% off and who doesn’t like something that gives you both quality with savings, especially in this economy. I plan to purchase another couple of pair before winter once I decide what shades of denim I want.

I’m pushing 70 and had gotten so frustrated with jeans that last year I quit wearing them. These jeans have brought me back to the fold. Like some other reviewers, I took a chance on my first pair because of the low price. After putting them on, I immediately ordered another pair. I’m 5’3” and 128 lbs. and was torn between the regular and short lengths. I was also puzzled by the number of people in my size range who were getting a good fit with the size 6. I decided they must be a lot younger than I am, so I went with my gut (pun intended) and ordered the 10 Short. They fit me exactly the way I like and don’t feel constricting at all. Even though I got the Short, they are a little long. I may hem them an inch or so if that is still the case after the first wash and dry. Overall, I am thrilled. It’s hard to fine flattering jeans that fit and make women my age feel comfortable and attractive. These do the job beautifully.

I ordered these jeans in two different colors, but both the same style. My first disappointment was when I opened the bag to find that neither of them was the color seen on the pictures. I ordered a light pair and a medium pair (scottsdale and I can’t remember the name of the light pair). When looking at the pictures they looked sort of vintage, almost 80’s, which is what drew me to them. When I got them the color was not like that at all. They weren’t vintage looking, they were just a regular blue jean and a regular light blue jean. They did fit well in the hips and thighs, but despite the fact that I ordered the same size and style, the light colored pants were shorter than the mediums. My other issue is that these are supposed to be a high rise, but it seems they are only high in the front and low in the back. Because of that the jeans fold at the hips and lower back. I like that they fit and they’re stretchy and comfortable to move around in, but dislike the color and the inconsistency with the length. I’m keeping them, but wouldn’t order more in the future.

It’s a dark blue color with nice stretch. They come up to the waist and length is great for tall customers. The thickness is as usual for an Amanda style. Shipping took much longer than expected.

I wanted to try a pair of these jeans and finally got a pair today. I really like the Frisco shade. It's a nice medium wash, not dark but not too light denim. The classic rise is good, makes my butt look super good, has a great stretch and the inseam is perfect for my 5'2" height because they'll fall over my shoes perfectly without dragging on the ground when I walk. I normally live fitted and tight jeans, these aren't tight in me at all and is a nice alternative to tight pants if you like to switch it up. These jeans legs are NOT tapered at all. To me, they look more like a wide leg or straight leg jeans. I bought size 16 short. They fit me great and have just the right amount of length and looseness in the leg. Caught them on sale for $22.99! Definitely recommend these, but note: these jeans are tapered. Buy a different style of GV jeans if you want tapered leg!
