I've had Gloria Vanderbilt jeans in the past when I was thinner, I found them well made. I do remember having to wear one size larger back then. Might just be my body shape, I have a big waist/tummy but narrow hips and thighs. According to the size chart I should be able to wear a 14 or 16 my waist is 43 inches and my hips are 46 inches. I'm wearing a 16 these days but I ordered an 18 Short, glad I did. They fit well, not tight, not loose, and I have room in case of any shrinkage. At 66% cotton they probably won't shrink much. They do seem very stretchy with the polyester and spandex so hopefully they won't get too loose and fall down. I wanted stretchy pull ons because I'm tired of tight waisted regular zipper fly jeans cutting in to me. I am 5'3" and ideally need a 26/27" inseam but normally do okay with 28" inseams, which are more common. For some reason these seem extra long on me but I did measure the inseam and it is 28". I wanted white jeans (actual denmin) and these were advertised as jeans, but they are pants. However, I am still glad I bought them as they are very comfortable indeed. I always get worried buying clothing sight not seen on Amazon and tend to size one size up. However, these fit a bit on the large side so I would recommend getting your regular size. I normally wear size 20 but got 22. They also are the perfect length and I am 5'5. These may get slack after a few wears actually as the pull-on type pants tend to do so its best to buy a size that fits snug since they stretch out. Nice pants! ... show more

I'm 5'7" and 200lbs. I wear a size 16 in jeans. I also have had 3 children and can't seem to get rid of my stomach pooch. It has been literal hell trying to find a pair of jeans that are slimming, comfortable and fit me well. I ordered these in a size 16 long and as soon as I put them on I was in heaven! They are so magically comfortable and slimming! Not only does it tuck my stomach in but they're soft and not too tight like most slimming skinny jeans that feel like you're wrapped in plastic. This was my first Gloria Vanderbilt jeans. Love the color. Length was perfect but its a tad tight. Usually I wear a 4 P In pants (Ann Taylor Loft and also Old Navy). These are my favorite jeans!!! They are slimming and they control muffin top. If I wear the same size in regular jeans, I have muffin top issues over the button. But the jeans pull on just high enough to hold the muffin top in and look smooth under shirts. I love that they are slim leg but not skinny leg. I ordered a 10 based on size chart and they were too large overall. I ordered on the "prime try before you buy" which works well. I have a large 33 inch waist and 38 hips...I am 135 and 5'5" and the size 8 fits perfectly. Unkknown is how well they wash, but I wont dry in dryer for fear the seam may move (you know what I mean) ... show more

These jeans are so comfy and wonderful with great stretch, HOWEVER, the back pockets aren’t the deepest and the front pockets are a joke. The front pockets are 2” deep but SIDEWAYS. Completely unusable and that’s why I gave 4 stars
