Comfortable, go-to jeans... however...

Pros and cons here. On the plus side: COMFORT! Good stretch and just enough spandex that the knees don't pooch-out after 15 minutes! They fit slim without being skinny jeans (hate those!) and the ankle area isn't tight. On the negative side: What is up with the front pockets??? They are a why-bother addition which I suppose they added to make them look like jeans. They are only an anchor for the front tummy panel but as pockets they're useless. However, for those of us who never tuck anything in - it's a nit. Also, these jeans are surprisingly long for an "average" length. I had to hem up both pairs. So what's my overall review??? Definitely buy them and see what you think. I love 'em and would definitely recommend them. (who really uses front pockets anyway!) :-)

Very comfortable. Wish front pockets were real and back pockets higher. I ordered a second pair one size down hoping I will fit them better. These make me look like I have no butt & I think it is the size & pocket placement, or I walked my butt right off of me is probably more like it. Still love them.

I bought a pair of these GV "Amanda" jeans at another store and I liked them so much that I came home and immediately ordered another pair from Amazon. I purchased a size 14 tall for 5'8" tall and 170 lbs. and they fit me perfectly. The jeans are stretchy but they have a panel that slims down my tummy area a bit. The wide waist band is very comfortable. I love that these just pull on and I haven't had any issues with them sliding down even after wearing them all day long. Under tunic tops, they look like regular jeans. I do wish the pockets weren't so shallow and that the bottom of the leg openings were slightly smaller. The leg bottoms are not quite as large as boot cut size but not quite as thin as my other straight leg jeans. Overall, I really like these GV jeans. They look like regular jeans, are comfortable to wear, easy to pull on and off, and they help hide my tummy. I would definitely buy these again.
