First, they did run small so I would suggest ordering a size up from your normal size. I had to return the 8.5 for a 9.5. I have been wearing these for a couple months and I love them! They are decently comfortable and keep my feet warm and dry. I haven't actually tied them, but left them loose at the top with the laces tucked in so I can just slip them on and off. I've kept them like this in snow approximately 4-5 inches. Now I haven't walked/stood long in snow that was higher than the bottom rubber. After the leather trim the sides are just material, so they may soak through, I'm not entirely certain. I got them for a great price so I was concerned about the quality, but they seem durable. These pics are after wearing for a couple of months. They are holding up. They are also good rubber on the bottom to help prevent slips. Overall they're decent boots - and cute! I would certainly recommend!

Shoes look great, fit well. I’m a 9-9.5, got 9.5 and can fit two socks comfortably. It was a $52 gamble for the Boulder, CO area- I think for most of my needs it will work great. Four snows in and they have remained waterproof. Feet have stayed warm with two pairs of socks. The other morning it was 9 deg Fahrenheit, and my son and I went to the park, 10 inches of snow. My feet in one pair of wool socks were fine for an hour. Remained dry every use. As far as grip- I was slipping and sliding as much as my friend with Sorels: take away- walk on snow not ice. Common sense, avoid ice. When I can’t I feel I do just as well as others in name brands. Early in the season, but I’ve worn them every day for 2 weeks and structurally they’re holding up great. Update 2 months later: have been perfect for snow and no issues on ice. Feet stay warm with 1-2 pairs of socks. Comfortable and I wear them all day. I’m super pleased.

Pretty accurate size wise. I wear a 6 in woman, and with a thick sick they were perfect for me, however i didny look as good as the photos lol. To each their own i guess. I'm not a very stylish person, So it may just be me not being comfortable with the diff colors.. But if you like what you see ...def a great bang for your buck, plus they are comfortable. I did returned them but reordered the same boot just in a solid color and im very happy! My feet are warm and dry!

After wearing my Sorel boots for many years, they finally took a dive and are beyond repair. Until I get a new pair (Sorels are top of the line), I saw these boots on Amazon. Similar look, wayyyyyyy cheaper price wise, and I'm pleasantly surprised. Fit great (I wear a size 9 but got the 9 1/2) and very comfortable. I haven't worn them out too much so time will tell, but for the price, I can enjoy them for even a short time and feel like I am getting my money's worth. They are very cute as well.

I live in upstate NY and tend to do a lot of hiking with my two dogs, spouse, and two toddlers. I purchased these in August when I knew that by the end of September in upstate, it could start snowing and be frigid. I was skeptical as I have always purchased expensive boots thinking that was the solution to the freezing cold, wetness and wind during the Fall/Winter (basically winter). My last pair of boots were too bulky, heavy, and I paid almost $200 for them (Sorel, Joan of Artic boots). I wore them 3 times hiking and after being pregnant and then also carrying a toddler, I said these will absolutely not work. Anyway, fast forward to finding these on Amazon and keeping them in my "Save for later" for almost an entire year, not wanting to pull the trigger on cheap boots that wouldn't last. Well I finally purchased them and seriously, there are 0 regrets on the purchase. They are light weight, waterproof, great for hiking, easy to get on and off (not too stiff), and they are incredibly warm. I had to stand outside in 20 degree temps and high wind for over 2 hours due to a natural gas emergency and my feet were toasty warm with just plain old ankle socks on. I couldn't feel the wind, definitely couldn't feel the cold. I have also been hiking several miles in these through woods in the Finger Lakes National Forest while carrying my 2 year old on my back and I had 0 calluses, 0 discomfort and I didn't feel like I was trudging along at all. The soles are still in solid shape after climbing over branches and rocks and having my 70+lb dogs run over me or step on my boots. I purchased these in an 8.5M and the color 1910black. I generally wear an 8 or 8.5. I have what I affectionately refer to as "duck feet", pretty wide, some arch but nothing drastic. My feet like to spread out and these boots allow that without losing shape or stretching out. I can easily wear them with standard ankle socks or thick wool hiking socks with plenty of room to not feel cramped. I really just can't say enough good things about them. It's currently December and temps are starting to drop for prolonged periods with constant wet outside. I don't have a worry about it at all and may be purchasing another color as I'm seeing they are 25% off right now. Also I attached pics of the boots with 1 solid month of daily wear (November) and then two months of occasional wear (every 2-3 days) and you can see they have held up well and the sole is in great shape.

I dislike this boot. Likely will have to replace them next year. This really blows. They came with a tear on the left foot. It costs to send them back. Cute shoes overall but the material is of low value for the money. I would have given a lower star rating if the right foot would have been torn as well, but it wasn’t.

I have very wide feet so I usually size up by half. I got these in a 9 but they were just a hair too narrow. If you have standard width feet I think going up half a size would be appropriate. If you're someone like me with very wide feet, size up a whole size. I'm so pleased with these and I'm confident I can keep my toes warm with these! I missed the opportunity to return the other color but I gave them to a friend who does not have wide feet. She loves them too!
