This sweatshirt was ok in terms of looks and fit, but very disappointing in quality. It was a bit thinner than expected, but the biggest disappointment has been the poor durability of the fabric. It has been worn frequently for only 2 months, and the fabric is pilling and looks as worn as I would expect it to look after years of use. We've had the LL Bean sherpa lined sweatshirts in the past, and I knew not to expect that level of quality, which also comes at a higher price. Even so, for $40, I would expect better. (Just ordered a replacement during an LLBean holiday sale for $50, and expect to get years of use and higher quality. To me, that's a good investment of $10 more.) ... show more

I purchase a Global Unisex Heavyweight Sherpa Lined Zip Up Fleece Hoodie Jacket in Navy Heather X-Large. The fabric is soft and seems to be good quilty. I Like the color. The thumb holes are a great idea if you don't carry gloves. The Sherpa lining is soft, warm and contrasts the outer jacket well. I have worn my hoodie with a black shirt with no shedding. All in all, well made and looks great without being bulky. The shipping was fast. I would give this product five stars except the sizing of the jacket. In particular the sleeves. It seems that what I have is an X-Large hooded jacket. Unfortunately, the sherpa lining makes it fit more like a size large. I wear a large, so the jacket body fits me well. I wanted lined sleeves, but they are very tight because of the lining. The arms tend to roll up your long shirt sleeves when I put it on. I do not have Arnold Schwarzenegger's arms, so this is a surprising problem. The jacket is well made and better than advertised. I hope Global will tailor the hoodie to the lining, so X-Large is more to U.S. men's standard size. I would be happy to buy again if they fix the sleeves. I recommend this purchase as long as you are aware of the need to up-size. ... show more

Here are couple of things which can make your service and product a lot better. Shipping packing could have been better, large size hoodie was stuffed in 9.5x12.5 USPS plastic envelope, looked like football The cloth on pockets could have been lined from inside by some good stuff to make it more comfortable, now it feels like cheap thin mesh. There could have been little bit more space in forearms, too tight for someone who have big forearms or if someone wants to wear a full sleeve t-shirt under hoodie, other wise it fits very well. I'm wondering if it will shrink after wash, will keep you guys updated Finally, the ends of string in hoodie need better finishing maybe something like metallic bulbs at end. For my 15 year old daughter. Ordered size medium and fits her well. The sleeves a little long, but like the fact that the sherpa is lined through the sleeves. A lot of the sherpa lined sweatshirts are only lined in the torso, not the sleeves

I just received this sweatshirt and it is better than expected. It is sherpa lined all over and feels quite warm and nice. I am female, and I am 5'5" and weigh 130 lbs and I ordered a x-small. Because the product is listed as unisex I was worried that it would be baggy or boxy, or be too long. It fits just right for me. The quality of the fabric and workmanship is very good. My husband is picky...and I mean picky. Example: Sleeves are never long enough or they're too long, or the bottom is not ribbed, or the ribbing is too tight/loose. Or the inside pills and becomes scratchy. Or, or, or. Like I said, for a man, he's p.i.c.k.y.! Aaaarrrrrggggghhhhh! I want to tell you, I was very hesitant about ordering this sweatshirt based on some of the rightly critical reviews (with pics) of seams pulled, other rents, and I mulled it over and over, and after an exhaustive search looking for a slim fitting, lined through the sleeves (not taffeta, but lined with FLEECE), I kept returning to this sweatshirt. So, I decided to listen to the 4/5🌟 reviews...I could always return it -- though as this was a Christmas present for my picky beloved, I hoped I wouldn't have to. So, I pulled the trigger and THRILLED that I did! I need to order another, because it must be occasionally washed and getting it off him (he's 78 and generally always chilly unless its 80°+), has proved challenging. I generally resort to doing a midnight washing and half-dry to air-dry til morning. Sheesh! My husband L.O.V.E.S. this super soft and comfortable sweatshirt. It's so attractive, and actually doesn't make him look like a walking skeleton with it flapping loosely. Its slim without being too snug, he can easily layer over a long-sleeved shirt, and this light blue color is beautiful. Lol, he has no use for the thumb-hole on cuff, but if he were still delivering mail, he would use that feature. Listen, it's a little pricey to gamble, but it's not a hassle to return if you are one of the unfortunate ones who receives one that should not have passed their quality check. My son LIVES in hoodies and he's very picky. He likes everything very plain, yet it has to be "different". Not a common or easy combination. Most hoodies are black or heather grey or has designs he doesn't like and he gets bored with basic colors. He also likes some with extra insulation - living in Michigan - for the colder days. He wears them around his college campus instead of heavy coats. This is a thinner weight, meaning not super thick, but provides the extra warmth that is needed.
