Works pretty good a bit expensive

This primer is relatively colorless, fragrance-free, and has a light but velvety texture. It doesn't absorb into the skin like a moisturizer, but isn't particularly thick either. I tried it just with my daily makeup routine - concealer, translucent powder, and bronzer/blush - and didn't notice a big difference with it smoothing out/making my larger pores or creases disappear. However, it did seem like it helped the powders adhere to my skin a bit better. I eventually tried it under foundation and it does have a better smoothing effect in that use-case, as opposed to foundation alone. It minimized my pores, but didn't obscure them entirely. I wouldn't necessarily use this daily, but I'll use it when I know I'll be wearing foundation. As a note, I think it's best stored upright, on its lid. I had stored it on its side in my makeup bag and it separated a bit and the contents came out oily a couple of times. Giving it a good shake and storing it upright has solved that.

Prior to trying this I mostly used a store bought bb cream as a primer after moisturizing. I really enjoy using this product. My skin is currently very dry and flaky and while this didn't completely resolve my skin's appearance it did improve it. I found it best to that all steps be done in succession (wash, moisturize, apply this product, then foundation.) There was really no odor, it's soft, and applies very easily. I really liked this product - I didn't realize what I was missing until now!

I have oily skin, I tried this today and it made my skin oilier. By 800 am Ioil was seeping through. The mattifying primer is much better!!

Wow, I have to say this primer is amazing. I have used prestige brands before, but hadn't lately due to budget restraints. This Glo Skin primer is amazing! When I put it on, it felt soft and creamy like a lotion, but it blurred my face really well. I thought since it was like a lotion, it wouldn't prevent oiliness, but I was wrong. My makeup lasted really well throughout the day without an oily look to it, so it's safe to say this created a matte effect. My BB cream and blur powder adhered really well to the formula and my makeup looked flawless, both at the time of application and 10 hours later. I even went to the gym after work, and it still looked pretty decent when I got home! This is a pretty big tube in terms of typical primers, so I get the price. The quality is right up there with others like Benefit. Highly recommend!

This product works reallyyyyy well for me. I have dry skin in some patches of my face and applying foundation always brings out my nose pores. This formula really reminds me of Benefit's Porefessional primer. It's kind of thick and tacky but in the best way. I'm not good at tracking water-based vs silicone-based makeup so I can't speak to what products I'm mixing with this primer but it really helped reduce my visible pores and prevented any dry areas.

The first thing that I want to mention is that this isn't what I expected. I expected a very thick, putty like consistency. That isn't what this is. It is more of a creamy texture that seems like it is just going to moisturize the skin, however, once applied to the skin, it creates this hydrating but also velvet like appearance to the skin that makes the pores seem smaller. It feels good on the skin and does give the appearance of smaller pores, but doesn't fill the pores. I have dry skin, so I was a bit worried at first, but this is somehow hydrating and also leaves the skin velvety. It is a unique formula that I quite like. I have rather large pores, even for having dry skin, so products that make the pores appear smaller usually dry my skin further, but this doesn't. I won't say that it makes your pores disappear, nothing does that, but it does help them appear smaller with the benefit of not drying out the skin. Overall, I'm impressed. You can use under makeup or alone.
