I'll 'fess up and admit that I know next to nothing about glass cutting. I do it rarely and only for practical reasons, mainly cutting window panes to size. I am refurbishing several old multi-pane windows and a bought a new Camdios glass cutter for the project. You are supposed to add some glass cutting oil into the barrel of the cutter, which I honestly had never heard of, so I got this Camdios oil figuring it would work well with the Camdios cutter. And it does. It was easy to make perfect score lines and get clean straight breaks. I've recently gotten in the hobby of glass bottle cutting for crafts and was just using water as the lubrication; It was working mostly fine, but there were some rough cuts occasionally. With cutting oil the cuts were cleaner and I had to throw away less bottles. It also didn't stain the glass and it was easy to clean up. ... show more

Great price for 4 ounces. The dropper tool that comes with it makes it easy to use without making a mess. I have used it to help with cutting wine and beer bottles. Works well.

    • This is your typical, quality cutting oil
Cutting oil helps when you're cutting glass. This is your typical oil. There's nothing special about it, but does work well. It comes in a bottle with a handy applicator tip, and it also includes a little pipette for precision applications. I like this a lot.

Nice item. The bottle is perfectly full and closes tightly so it won’t leak. The plastic is solid so it won’t get cracked and leak easily. Does not have a unusual, or strong odor. Thin like water. I'd prefer it to be a little thicker to help if stay on the tool. The little pipet is a great idea. The only thing is the pipet could be a littler longer. When you get to the bottom of the container you will have to manage to tilt the bottle in order for the pipet to reach the oil. Good stuff though. ... show more

    • Much more economical than in stores
I have recently gotten into stain glass and have started getting all my tools together. The place I purchased my glass cutter had glass oil, but it was much smaller than this 4 ounces and much more expensive. I am a true novice of this craft, but this oil works great from what I can tell. I don't have a lot of experience with other oils, but I do know that when I used this oil in conjunction with my glass cutter, the pieces were far less likely to splinter around the edges. I definitely am glad I ordered this oil instead of paying more for less with questionable odds as to the quality of that oil in comparison to this one. ... show more

My husband does stained glass as a hobby, and likes this glass oil for when he works with the glass. It does what it was designed to do well. If you are in need of glass oil, this is a good option!

I got this oil for my stained glass work and bottle cutting. It works well for both of these applications. It works as well as the brand name oils usually sold in stained glass supply houses, but at a much better price.
