    • The glass stir rods were unprotected and arrived broken.

The media could not be loaded. I was mostly happy with this product, but also disappointed. The two glass stirring rods were broken in the box. They were not wrapped in any protective material and we're free to move around in the box during shipping. Because the beakers were packaged well and not broken, I'm not going to bother with a return and risk another damaged delivery as the beakers are more important to me than the stir rods. If only they had wrapped the glass rods the order would have been perfect. The beakers are nice enough for the price, albeit a little thin, and I look forward to using them. ... show more

    • Not in 50 ml increments!!

Just be aware! These are fine beakers. As good as the many I have, except for one big thing to me that I find annoying. They measure in 60 ml increments. All of my others are in 50 ml increments so the 60 mls was a bit confusing. So, it goes from 120, 240, 360, etc. Why??? I have no idea. I finally marked the unlabeled half way lines with a permanent marker at 180, 300, 420 so I didn't have to think about it so much. Maybe this makes sense to others but not me!! ... show more

I ordered this set for my son to carry out a science experiment. I'm a scientist myself, and I found these to be of great quality for the intended use. We utilized these for an acid weathering project.
