First I want to address the two most common criticisms of this bra: First, cone boob. This bra, like every seamed, soft cup bra in the universe, will give you more of a pointy shape than a seamless underwire bra would. Compared to other seamed, soft-cup bras, the cone boobening is pretty mild here. It's also worth keeping in mind that the shape a bra holds your boobs in is as much of a variable fashion trend as skirt length or pant cuff width. Cone boobs used to be all the rage. Lately we're in an age of round, high boobs, which, objectively. is equally as unnatural looking (maybe arguably more so, since bra-less boobs tend to be a little pointier). Point (haha see what I did there?) being, cone boobs in and of themselves aren't bad. It's just not what's trendy right now. So consider this bra will hold your boobs in a shape you are not used to before buying. Second, durability. I'm not some psychopath who hand washes bras because that is straight nonsense, however, you do have to handle this bra with some care. Basically, hook the hooks, pop it in a mesh lingerie bag, and wash it with your other cold water clothes on the cold water delicate cycle. Then air dry it. I'm guessing that a lot of the problems with the lace are coming from the bra hooks getting caught in the lace, so hooking the bra and using a lingerie bag should take care of it. I've washed this particular bra four times now with no problems. If it does start to fall apart, I'll update this review (and take off some stars). Now, the review part of the review. This is a really comfortable bra. It's been a long time since I've worn a bra that I didn't dread wearing and rip off my body the instant I got home. I particularly appreciate that there's no side boning, which I have found merely warps into a "C" shape as it conforms to my side fat, and then serves to do nothing but stab me in my armpit all day. Despite the lack of plasticware inside, this bra is very supportive, thanks to a wide underband and solid cup construction. The straps don't slip on me (I'm fairly broad shouldered, though, so your mileage may vary), nor do they cut into my shoulders. I tossed my dingy Elomi Hermione bras (talk about a bra that does weird things to your shape) and bought a total of four of these. Cone boobs in 2015, y'all! My wish list item is that Glamorise made the Magic Lift t-shirt bra in the same size range as this one, since the lace makes this unsuitable for clingy t-shirts and the lack of lining means you're going to be showing your nipples to all your coworkers in your cold, air conditioned office. I am looking for a bra with great support but no underwires. This one was close but not quite right. It is pretty and a good price point. The overall fit is good and the shoulder straps don't keep sliding down your arms so that's great. Overall lift is pretty good for a non-underwire option. However, the elastic at the bottom digs in something fierce! All the way around, it creates a red mark. I already sized up one band size so sizing up 2 is just not the solution. ... show more

It is difficult to find a comfortable bra when your size goes above a DD. I am 46G so comfort and lift are the 2 things I need in a bra. Now, are bras comfortable, no. Never. Its the first thing I need off me asap. This bra is a little itchy the first couple wears but that subsides. Is there cone boob happening? Yes. Do I care, absolutely not. This bra is strong. It has thick straps. Although there is not a lot of room for adjustment with the straps. It didn't matter to the wear though. It has 3 levels of hooks in the back with enough stretch but not so much to make it too stretchy in the support. It's a wide band for us large ladies. This bra covers cleavage. There is no cleavage to show. It flattens it. I don't care. This is a bra meant for hours of wear for comfortable, not sexy time. This is your grandma's bra. This bra doesn't sag. The material is thick and strong. There is a 3 layer thick strap on the inside helping lift. Do I need to pull down the back strap occasionally when the boots get a little heavy in the front? Yes, but nothing compared to other bras. It doesn't roll up. All in all, from a large breathed woman since puberty, I have tried many a bra. Shopping for bras are hell. This product does give excellent lift as advertised. It is a little bullet shaped like Madonna from the 80s but not as bad and under a sweatshirt or something who cares? I would say to size up in the band because the band is a little tight to the point where it becomes uncomfortable after a while, even though I ordered my normal size. Of course I guess if you go up besides you risk losing some of that support. ... show more
