So I usually grab a bikini in a large just to get extra coverage, thinking that as long as it has string-tie sides, I can make it fit me. Not so with this. The top has an interesting kind of scalloped cut at the cleav that is not my favorite (I prefer regular triangle cut), and the ruching down the bum means that you actually can't adjust the bottoms to fit you very well as with a normal string bikini. Honestly my bottoms were too big, which was something I didn't expect with a string bikini, and I can't really fix it by simply tying it tighter. These bottoms also sit higher than regular low waist/hip hugging bottoms, and if you pull them down to your hip, you get serious gaps that you can't fix by tying the string differently. I *could* wear it to the beach, and I do overall like the top (4/5) but the bottoms are a 2/5 at best so it averaged out to a 3, and I'd rather not wear it tbh. Color's lovely though!
