Purchased to use as transfer tape for paper that was cut on a cricut. Works great. Soft tack makes it easy to work with (unlike vinyl transfer tape - it won't rip or peel apart the paper). But, it bunches and folds super easy. With a little bit of care and attention, it seems to do exactly what I need. I also wish the cutter on the box were designed differently. I find it hard to get a straight, easy cut while multi-tasking with the press'n seal. Still, I'm giving it 5 stars because it fits my needs better than anything else I have found so far. I am new to all of this though, so other options might still be discovered :) ... show more

Way better than cling wrap! It sticks really well to itself. With cling wrap I usually have to use two layers and make sure it goes around to the bottom of whatever I'm wrapping because it will not stay on unless the bowl (or whatever) is set on top of it to hold the cling wrap down. With this stuff I don't need to do that, it sticks to the sides of the bowl and to itself. Only thing I don't love is the razor edge on the box for tearing off a part of the wrap. It's equivalent to or better than most razor edges, but I've never found any of them to have better than 75% accuracy at cutting it where you need it. This is the same. ... show more

I bought a discount brand plastic wrap and was disappointed. The GLAD press and seal wrap. Is great to work with. If you are like me and you never can find the top of a plastic container, this comes to the rescue. It’s easy to pull out and cut right off the box. All you have to do is wrap the food and just press it and it will stay put even in the cold refrigerator. I also have used it to wrap a plate of food that was warm and I do not want to put it back in the refrigerator for my family when they do come over after work. It keeps the heat in fairly well and all I have to do is microwave it for a few seconds for a hot meal. I don’t have to worry about any flies or bugs getting into the food.
