Features

  • 100% Synthetic
  • Made in the USA and Imported
  • Synchwire construction is a stitch-less upper that's vented and reinforced to create a lightweight cycling shoe with incredible airflow and structural integrity. Synchwire is an advanced composite of thermo-bonded film that provides overall durability, a non-woven internal sheet for distributing the force from the closure system to the upper for direct power transfer, and mono-filament mesh for ventilation.
  • The BOA L6 Fit System provides fast micro-adjustability with the turn of the dial. The combination of the dial, lace, and guides reduces weight and provides finer adjusment (1mm increments) compared to traditional buckles, and it offers an instant release function too. The BOA Fit System dials and laces are guaranteed for the lifetime of the product.
  • Our injection-molded nylon and glass fiber outsole is stiff and light, and features over-molded heel and toe pads for durability. The universal 3/2 cleat bolt pattern allows you to choose 2-bolt- or 3-bolt-style cleat/pedal systems for versatility and personal preference.
  • Reflective details enhance visibility at nighttime or in low-light conditions when illuminated by a light source, such as headlights, by returning the light back to the source and reaching the driver's eye.

  • Affordable cycling shoes
Size: 12 Color: Portaro Grey
Great low cost shoe! True to size. At first look I thought they were too narrow, but they fit perfect even with my slightly wide foot, Very comfortable. They transfer power well and are plenty stiff. Easy to clip in to pedals and comfortable to walk in. I will say they are surprisingly heavy. Serious riders might find sending a couple extra bucks for the carbon version worth it for the weight savings. I love the shoes, bonus they look good too! ... show more

  • Surprisingly really good
Size: 13 Color: Portaro Grey
Wasn’t expecting much for $70 compared to other Mtb shows costing $200-400. But I am impressed. Comfortable, good fit, waterproof? Look good. My old Giro Terra somethings finally fell apart at the sole to upper. I got my use out of them. These flex less so not great for enduro or all day on bike with some hikes. But stiff and light enough for XC racing. ... show more

  • For me, comfort is the most important thing and choose since I’ll be out there a few hours.
Size: 12 Color: Portaro Grey
My feet just keeps growing so my shoe size keeps growing to I guess now I’ll know to order a size bigger than I’m used to but the shoes fit great I had a big back surgery so I haven’t ridden my bike for a while but I got the shoes ahead so when I could ride, I’m ready to go!. I really like the color of these shoes especially because my gravel bike has the same color But these shoes are very comfortable. No complaints. ... show more

  • MISLEADING / FALSE ADVERTISED LISTING - NO DOUBLE BOA CLOSURES - 03.16.23
Size: 14 Color: Black
TLDR: THE FIRST PICTURE SHOWS THE GRIO SECTOR DUAL-BOA MODEL. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE THOSE. I have almost worn through my previous pair of Rincon's after about three years. I love them for gravel biking! They fit great and wear well off of the bike for hike-a-bike sections. I was psyched to see a great discount on the new 2023 Ricon's and that they had been upgraded to dual boa closures. UNFORTUNATELY, the first picture in the listing, as I have come to realize, is actually the higher priced, SECTOR model. THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISING. I expected to get a dual boa shoe and received the single boa with velcro toe. Are these even the newer 2023 model? Who knows? (I compared them to my previous Rincons and did not find any significant changes between the models other than some screen printing on the insole.) Y'ALL NEED TO CHANGE THE FIRST PICTURE IN THIS LISTING. THOSE ARE NOT THE MODEL BEING SOLD. That said, I did get a great discount on some shoes that I really like so, JOKES ON ME. I'm keeping them. Update: the bike store that sells these through Amazon confirmed that Amazon, not the bike store, put the wrong picture up for this listing. I’ll amend this review if and when the listing picture is fixed. ... show more

  • Great shoe
Size: 13.5 Color: Olive/Gum (2021)
Just like the reviews the shoe runs slightly small. Overall I love these shoes. They fit great, look cool, and I love the BOA mechanism. I highly recommend as a gravel or MTB shoe.

  • mostly great, but flawed cleat placement
Size: 13.5 Color: Olive/Gum (2021)
These are very well made, breathable, easy to get on and off, and mostly comfortable. But they have one flaw. The slots for the cleat screws cant slide far enough forward, so the cleats are about half inch behind the ball of your foot, and that degrades pedal comfort, pedal power, and range of motion. The slots need to be moved a half inch further forward. Other shoes i own from Louis Garneau have the slots in the right place (half inch further forward), so the clips can mount right under the ball of your foot. ... show more
