These scooter skirts from Approved School Wear seem to be of excellent quality and feel like they will definitely last a good while, which is exactly what you want for school uniforms. The attached shorts underneath are an absolute must-have, at least for my daughter, who has a tendency to break out into cartwheels at any given moment! I did order a size 7 for my 6.5-year-old daughter, but unfortunately, they are simply too big for her right now. She's on the smaller side for a 6-year-old, but I was still surprised at how large the size 7 turned out to be. So, she hasn't been able to wear them to school just yet. However, I am still very happy with the overall quality of the skirts, and I have no doubt that they will become a staple in her school wardrobe once she grows into them. I would recommend considering sizing down, especially if your child is on the smaller end of the age range for their size. ... show more

Having just recently purchased new school uniforms, I appreciated the elastic waistband of these skirts as the ones I purchased from Gap have absolutely no give. The quality of these uniforms is comparable to the price; very reasonable but I wish the material of the skirt was not so scratchy and wrinkly. They fit her very well and aren't too long or too short (although she is petite). She says they are very comfortable. They look good on her. these are fine for a uniform, i wouldn't have them worn outside of a school setting. The fabric is a little stiff and rough and they do run bigger than the usual skorts for uniforms. My daughter is between a 14 and16 and I bought these in a 16. They are more like an 18 so they run long and wide. I will hold on to them for her for next year in the hopes that she'll grow into them. I don't like th elook of super short skirts, but the way these fall are right at the knee which makes the shorts underneat a bit uncomfortable. Got this 2 pack of skorts for my 8 year old daughter for school. I ordered size 7 and they fit around her waist perfectly. She is 4'2" and 63lbs. They have shorts underneath that have a smooth material and the skorts go a bit over her knees. She says they are super comfortable and easy to move around in. They are a bit big in the skirt area, kind of poof out in a weird way. Im hoping after I wash and dry them a couple of times that will fix it.
