Baby loves this book. The crinkle noise of the pages and the softness are both features she loves. It has a rattle in it as well. It's one of the go to toys I take in the car, on walks, in my purse when we go out. Worth the wait for the product to ship! Baby doesn't seem to be interested in the little tags on the pages of the books, but I can see it being interesting for other babies. Although I was unable to open the book (it arrived in a sealed plastic bag), the recipient exclaimed how happy she was to receive a 'crinkle book'. It was the only one received at the baby shower (requested books instead of cards). As a grandmother, I remember how much my grandson played with the crinkle books he received. My daughter LOVES this book. I mean LOVES IT! She chews on it and "reads" it all the time and she's 6 months old. We've had this book for about a month now and I feel like I will need to buy another so when this one dies, I have a back up. It crinkles and has the "tags" on it so she can chew and hold it easily.     • Soft and bright cover a little dull on the inside.

This book is okay. It has a rattle sewn into the first page and the rest of the pages crisp. The outside cover with the giraffe is soft but the others are just a regular cotton fabric. The images on the inside aren't as nice as the embroidered giraffe on the outside because they are sewn into the fabric and flat. The other animals aren't as colorful either. I bought this for my son to chew on however he loves shaking and hitting it more because of the sounds it makes. He is 6 months old and it keeps his attention. I returned the other baby books I ordered because they weren't what I was looking for and I felt they were overpriced.
