For the past couple of years my son has worn Gioberti’s boy’s tweed vest in the charcoal and has always looked so sharp. It’s his preferred Sunday wear and it wore well for being worn nearly every Sunday. Well, he outgrew it and is a total creature of habit. I was unable to buy the same one but in a larger size because they are always out of stock and I don’t really like the look of the shiny formal vests. I took a chance with this and it is perfect! It is a heavier weight fabric - not shiny or cheap looking at all and it has a great texture to it. He looks amazing and we are both happy. I do think they run a bit small, though. For reference, he is a 12 turning 13 year old, average 5’ kid. He’s slightly chubby around his middle as he’s reaching the “grow out before grow up” stage of life. Before this, he was wearing a size up from normal - a 14 vest with 12-14 sized button down shirt. This vest is a 16 and fits well without being too big but with room to grow. All that being said, it’s a great item and I’m sure we will be buying it again in another couple of years.

They look nice and are decent quality. Fit my 12 and 13 yr old grandsons nicely. Seem to be true to size as I ordered their normal sizes. I recommend them.

It sucks buying something your kid is most likely only going to wear once, but the quality on both looks and feel are great and worth every penny. The back sinch also help fit more diverse body types.
