The sides are reinforced with harder plastic so it keeps it's shape vertically preventing spills. The inside material is easy to wipe clean. We use a grocery bag in it and it can hold two liter-size waterbottles easily. The strap works for attaching it to the backside of the center console. It's actually too tall for our larger car and blocks off vents, but it fits in our smaller car perfectly. The only improvement would be a plastic piece for the bottom to keep it from trying to fold itself flat. Once you have something in it, it's fine. We are using a piece of cardboard that came in the packing material for this purpose. Hopefully the bag will be less likely to fold up once the cardboard gets yucky. Overall, it's a sturdy car trash bag with a good capacity, and it's so much cleaner than using grocery bags that tear easily. ... show more

Nice trash cans featuring a 2 gallon and a 3 gallon version. They have a cloth exterior with a plastic coating on the inside. 2 sides are made of a stiff material, while the other two sides are much thinner and more flexible. It says in the description that the “car trash bin‘s top stays open (even sitting on the ground) that you can easily throw the car trash into it” but I find the top closes making a little less convenient. If hanging the top stays open, but if sitting on the ground the top closes. Pros: • Good quality for the price • Has a inner lining (PEVA) that will not absorb moisture Neutrals: • I like the black, blends right into my Nissan’s interior color Cons: • They have a slight odor, I am hoping that goes away • Tops do not stay wide open when sitting on the ground, see photo Item came well packaged and was undamaged. These are nice little foldable bags for your car, RV, etc. I'm using mine to hold recyclables in my RV. I love that they fold completely flat so I can store it when I don't need it. The inside surface can be wiped clean, but I would use a liner of some sort if I was going to put really messy trash inside. The small size is good for a car. You can't fit a ton in it, but you also really should not be storing trash in your car for long so frequent emptying is good. The handle easy fits over the back of a seat headrest, keeping the bag in an easy-to-reach spot while you travel. ... show more

    • Flimsier than I expected but useful nonetheless

I wish this were slightly larger and slightly sturdier for its purpose. That said, a plastic grocery sack lines it perfectly and it's leak-proof. It folds up, which I suppose is a nice feature. And the canvas strap works well enough to hold the "can" to the back of my passenger-side headrest, which is the spot I found that worked best for my car's design and the design of this product. I love that I got a set of two so that I can switch them out between the front and back seat as needed. A 4 gallon trash bag fits great in the larger of the two, and makes clean out even easier, and with the waterproof/wipe out interior if the bag springs a leak there's nothing to worry about. The straps make attachment easy to any area in your car. My only complaint is that I'd prefer there be a panel or panels to help make them sit square, but they're absolutely worth it as they come. ... show more

First of all it arrived in nice sturdy vacuum sealed shipping cover! I opened it and the container easily opens into a nice compact sized waste basket. I liked it so much as it is very well made and sturdy and stands easily on its own on the back floor board. It stays open on it's own, too. Also has a nice handle so it can be secured to the console area, seat belt, etc. I have decided it's too nice to collect trash, although it would serve the purpose well, so I am using mine to gather my small items that need to be returned to the store! Nicely made trash cans for the car! Soft enough to collapse and get out of the way, but sturdy enough to be easy to use. The inside has a nice inner lining that looks very easy to clean and they look like they should hold liquid if necessary. I'll update this review if appropriate.
