Overall, good price and quality for these items. Toilet roll holder has a little vertical extrusion on the end to keep the paper roll from slippage. I prefer the traditional design that has two closed ends but this works and provided the towel ring, coat hook, towel bar and roll holder for an attractive price. I have found that, when measuring off the manufacturers provided guide, some of the supplied math is a little off in actual mounting so be careful not to take the install template as 100% accurate.

Lightweight but sturdy and beautiful too!!! I'm remodeling my entire small house and spending a little bit on things like this set!!! It will probably outlast me!!! Lol. I am doing a bathroom remodel at my home and this set had the black finish I wanted along with all the parts for my bathroom. This GIMBELEN 4 Piece Matte Black Bathroom Towel Bar Set is what I was looking for. The finish is on solid. I tried to scratch the finish in a hidden spot with my finger nails and there was no scratching into the finish. The towel ring is using the plastic bushing that seems to be used on all towel rings. Right now the ring moves stiffly, but I have to assume over time the plastic bushing will wear letting the ring flop back and forth more. The unit is well constructed and will work well for many years in any bathroom. Installation is typical with the plates that attach to the wall and then the fixture is attached to the plate using an hex head set screw. It does come with stainless steel screws and drywall anchors to attach the plates to the wall. The towel bar in this kit is a 24" towel bar. Wall studs are typically placed at 16" on center. If you are doing new construction, like I am, make sure to install some wood between studs at the right height off the floor so you can screw directly into wood without the use of the drywall anchors. Drywall anchors will eventually come out. The kit has 1" screws which will allow you to drive the screws directly through the drywall and penetrate the stud by 1/2". This will stay tight and will not come out over time. The directions were easy to follow and should help those who do not do this type of work often. The only drawback I saw was some minor casting flaws. I have a picture showing one of the flaws in casting. The picture shows the towel bar ends that attach to the plate on the wall. Notice the flaw in the casting on the one circled. That should be a solid piece of metal with the set screw hole open just like the one on the right. But it is not fully cast leaving a hole into the slot where the towel bar will slide. Also notice that the set screw hole is plugged and not open like the one on the right. I found a couple of these types of flaws in the casting, but since none of them are going to show or cause a concern about the structural integrity of the unit, I will use without returning. The main thing it shows is a lack of quality control in the manufacturing process. Just something to aware of when purchasing this product. With that said, the installation is easy and typical for these fixtures. The finish is clean and is not easily scratched. The materials used are not super thin and light which should mean many years of hassle free usage. That leads me to say that I do recommend this product.
