This razor was one of the first to introduce many of the features found on much more expensive razors today. The 2 or 3 blade refill cartridges pivot to follow facial contour. There is a lubricating strip above the blades. There is an area of ridged rubber ahead of the blades to help stand the beard up to make it easier to shave closer. The refill cartridges are much narrower than most other brands and definitely narrower than cartridges containing 4 or more blades. The Sensor has been on the market for decades. That speaks volumes about its acceptability. Blades are inexpensive here on Amazon and in bulk stores. Why pay for expensive reinventions of this simple two blade system? Do you really need 4 blades. What does that accomplish? 15 seconds less shaving? Oh and forget disposables.
