The shirts are pretty thick so you can wear them by themselves but they work well as undershirts too. They are comfortable on the skin and are good at absorbing sweat. Mine came with one of them having a hole under the armpit so I cannot give them 5 starts but other than that, if you need some work t-shirts, gym clothes, or just some overall t-shirts for normal occasions these are great value for the money.

My husband ruins his clothes like crazy and he will only wear grey t-shirts for work wear. He does landscaping, painting, tree cutting, etc.. so every thing gets torn and stained. To find a 10 pack of such nice quality cotton grey T-shirts for a great price is very difficult. They are usually thin, the seems are twisted and the fit is funky. I am very impressed with these, just washed, very little shrinkage. No distortions in the shape. I will come back for more when he wrecks these!
