I love this cloak so much I bought one in another color. It is very well made for the price, and it is thick and heavyweight. It does not feel like a costume in the slightest. I wore it outside on a chilly, slightly rainy day for several hours, and it kept me warm and dry all night. However, this cloak is definitely made for someone who is shorter. I am 5'0" and it fits perfectly. The bottom hem sits around my ankles, and the arm holes are at the right height. I wore this for an event one evening, and I had my arms through the holes the entire time. It was comfortable and it was great being able to functionally use my hands. If I were any taller/had longer arms, I could see the arm holes being quite frustrating. However, if you are taller and you don't care about using the arm holes or how it won't be floor length for you, it is a quality product that I would definitely recommend.

I really liked this cloak and want to make it work for my needs, but I am 5'9" and the arm holes and shoulder are aligned for a person 5'5" or under. It's a little snug in the shoulders as it is not a full circle cloak, but formed thru the shoulder area. I am pretty broad through the shoulders at 17.5". So this would fit a more petite framed person nicely. It's nicely lined, and the fabric, while obviously not real wool at this price point, is good quality and thickness. The dark green color is a lovely bluish hued forest green. I only take off a star because there is not a larger size option...:( I wish this cloak worked for me!

Let's just say I had set my expectations so as to not be disappointed if this was thin or seemed cheaply made on arrival. I was astounded at the heft when picking it up unfolded out of the package! The fabric is thick with a beautiful peacock blue consistent color. For those grousing about the arm holes, they are where they are supposed to be. The point is to be able to keep your arms and body warm, but grab things in a lady-like manner. They aren't meant to be like sleeves. I got this primarily for a costume, but intentionally went with something little more expensive with the hope of being able to actually wear it afterwards. This did not disappoint! Highly recommend.

This is nice for dressy occasions. Only bad isThe arm holes are not wide enough for my arm to fit through. My arms up to my elbows can sort of fit but it’s tight when you have long sleeves on. It would also make it better if it had at least on more button closure.

Just took this out of the box so excited but totally disappointed. I should have known by the weight of the box that it was not what I thought it was going to be. I do not know what the material is but it feels cheap. I tried to button it but failed because it felt like I was pulling the button off and when I just held it shut the opening’s for your hands were up to my breasts!!! It’s poorly made and absolutely not one size fits all. I’m sending it back immediately. Don’t waste your time.
