Had been dealing with random crashing with any RAM-intensive applications and chalked it up to my CPU overheating or something else. After changing countless parts and still no dice, I had simply replaced these memory modules with new Corsair ones and voila! No more crashing. I confirmed specs met those of my Dell XPS 8940 before purchasing (DDR4, 2666, etc) so was confident it would be no issue once received. As stated in review headline, worked great... for 3 months. Bought this pair of memory sticks in June; 2 weeks ago, one of the two sticks decided to kick the bucket. I assumed it was the CPU itself as the memory sticks had worked fine up until that point but after 2 returns of the CPU to Dell and their testing confirmed... it was the memory stick that was faulty.
