I purchased this card while it was on sale through Amazon for $275, which is a great deal for a video card running nVidia's 3rd gen Tensor Cores. This card works very will with all of Adobe's products and is on Adobe's recommended list for Photoshop and video editing. This card also has powerful capabilities for CGI creators besides gamers. According to nVidia's product page, this card's AI chip can automatically communicate to nVidia's artificial intelligent (AI) super computer and update this GeForce RTX 3050 card with new algorithms in order to live update game graphics. Check out nVidia's site for additional interesting features on this graphics card. This specific card assembled by Gigabyte (using three cooling fans) should prevent any overheating. Any computer desktop power supply of 400 Watts or higher should have no problems powering this powerful graphics card (per nVidia). For those who don't know: GeForce RTX 30 Series = 3rd gen Tensor Cores GeForce RTX 40 Series = 4th gen Tensor Cores To the best of my understanding the algorithms between the 30 and 40 Series are are identical. The only difference is the overall speed. At the time of this writing you can get the entry level 30 Series card (8GB Memory) for $275, while the entry level 40 Series (12GB Memory) card costs $800. The 30 Series cards have a good price break vs speed benefit ratio, and if you can locate a 30 Series card while on sale that ratio is even better. Hope this review and information was helpful. Hice fue un gran paso, tenia una 1050 jugaba con una resolución de 1366 x 768 y pase a la 3050 a jugar en 1980 porque si con la 1050 ponía esa resolución los fps se caían mucho, fue una excelente inversión

    • Box already been opened
It’s a good GPU, Gigabyte does a great job. However, the box had already been opened, the anti static bag seal has been ripped, there’s no owners manual or warranty card in the box. The plastic plugs in the DisplayPort and HDMI ports are all missing as well. Not sure if I was sold a returned item as a new one or a used item as a new one, but it’s quite odd. Unlike most people, I purchased this to convert videos files, not gaming. It's blazing fast at converting video files from h.264 to h.265 CoDecs. I have an Asus ROG STRIX Z370-E GAMING motherboard + Intel Core i7-8700 Coffee Lake 8th Gen 6-core 12-thread 3.2GHz (4.6GHz Turbo) + Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB 3.2GHz DDR4 RAM. I was using the CPUs built-in H.264 and H.265 hardware acceleration to covert videos. On average, it would convert video recorded with the following at about 5 to 10 frames per second. Video Stream: 720p (1280x720), 2925kbps, 29.97FPS, AVC (Main@L3.1) (CABAC / 4 Ref Frames) Audio Stream: 184kbps, 44.1kHz, 2 channels, AAC LC After adding this video adapter, I can now convert the same videos at an average of 1400 frames per second.     • Great GPU.
It's a boss. Can play new games on ultra at about 45-60fps. Over 100fps for games a few years old. Literally never had to turn down settings on any game. I didn't expect how big it is, almost didn't fit in my case. I removed 2 case fans and was able to squeeze it in.

I just installed it and have only tried 2 games with it and that was Red Dead 2 and the new Hogwarts legacy and they both played on ultra with no problem it does everything flawlessly that I throw at it….
