  • NO BUY AT ANY COST
I bought this item on November 2022, and until end of May 2023 everything was working fine, no problems, I enjoyed gaming, watching movies, believe me, my best experience using a monitor. After that, everything started changing. I started noticing that a line was blinking on the bottom of the screen and I thought it was something about the Display cable. Two weeks later, the line was permanently there, and I was worried already. I was researching about that and I read it was something that may occur with this model and Gigabyte would repair and assume the cost of repair. I live outside USA so, for me it is difficult to send it back. I researched if I can return it and, from Amazon, the Returning time was up so I reached out Gigabyte and they told me that they would receive it, but I have to assume the cost of the shipping, basically because I'm outside of USA. Two or Three weeks have passed and the lines got worse, and now I have to keep the item in that way because, analyzing the cost of shipping the item, and with no guarantee that they're going to solve the problem, I think I better buy another one. As I was reading, it's someting that has happened to a lot of the buyers and they have no option but keeping the item that way, and it will be getting even worse with the time passing. I gave up and I truly believe this is just scam, because happening to a lot of people and no getting any solution, it's simple something not fair. So, if you don't want to waste your money, you better NO BUY THIS ITEM! ... show more

  • This thing rules
I did a ton of research on models and specs and whatnot. The bottom line for me was my budget. I wanted a 27-inch monitor for my main bedroom for movies and gaming. I have an MSI 24-inch 144 Hz monitor with more pixels, and it was more expensive than this monitor and is nowhere close to the picture quality or speed. I mean, this monitor pops with colors and no ghosting with the correct settings that are easily found on youtube. I don't think you can get a better monitor for the money. Just youtube the model, and you'll see many tech dudes much more qualified than myself say the same thing. You can BARLEY see some pixels if sitting close to the monitor, but you must consciously look for them. That is the sacrifice you make for the colors and speed at this price range. If that sort of thing bothers you, you will have to spend more money or loss quality or size. If you want a budget multi-use monitor, stop looking because you found it. ... show more

  • Worst decision I have ever made, I totally regret purchasing this monitor
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this item on early December 2022, it worked well for a while.. Then, 3 weeks ago it started with small horizontal stripes, as soon as I turned it up it keep those stripes like for 20 mins, then everything was back ok. Later, like 1 week after that, it started blinking and blinking and that started making me feel uncomfortable to use this monitor. I purchased one from a different brand and now, its complete trash, as you can see on the videos, this is completely useless. There's a link at the Gigabyte webpage to send a request to repair this bs since its on a batch of defective monitors, and guess what?, they haven't answered in 2 weeks. If you're reading this DO NOT BUY THIS MONITOR IT'S COMPLETE BS. ... show more

  • Bought 2 monitors at same time and both failed the same way within 6 month of purchasing
I bought 2 of these monitors for a triple monitor setup. These monitors where not my main monitor, so I turned the Hz down to 60 Hz as I did not need it to be at a constant 165 Hz. Everything was fine for about2 or 3 months and then I started getting horizontal lines as showed in the picture. I tried different HDMI cables, DisplayPort cables, reinstalled drivers, tried on a different PC, tried multiple GPUs (2070 super, 3080, & a 3080Ti ) all to no avail. The only thing that seemed to work was turning up the Hz from 60 to something higher. And that was only a temporary fix because the horizontal lines would eventually come back, at which point I would have to turn the Hz up to the next notch to get rid of them. My first monitor I eventually had the Hz maxed out and the horizontal lines came back, so there was nothing I could do troubleshooting wise but try the second monitor I bought. The second monitor failed int he exact same fashion. After about 2 - 3 months horizontal lines started to appear and the only thing that could get rid of them was turning up the Hz/FPS on the monitor Note: During my troubleshooting, the monitor's power cord was plugged in but I disconnected the HDMI cable and the notification that pops up saying "No HDMI/DisplayPort detected," or whatever it says, had the horizontal lines without even being connected to the PC. Pretty sure they used (for the lack of a better term) cheap compactors that seem to have blown way earlier than a standard monitors life expectancy. It was the cheapest monitor with these types of features, so I guess they had to cut cost somewhere, which I am now seeing first hand. ... show more

  • Monitor Failure After 2 Months
Do not buy! Got this during Black Friday. After two months, the monitor started getting lines across it. I tried different cables and updated graphics, but still no changes. It has been getting worse- I have contacted Gigabyte, and they have not helped whatsoever. They do not stand by their warranty. The price is not worth it. Get a big well-known brand even if you have to pay more. ... show more

  • Fine while it works, which isn't a very long time
The image is not too bad when the monitor isn't busy bugging out. However, it doesn't take long before it does start bugging out. The first time I had this monitor, it took about a year before a solid black line appeared at the bottom of the screen. Fortunately, I got it RMA'ed and got it up and running again. Unfortunately, it has been about a year since the replacement and it has started to break down again. If I lower the refresh rate to anything less than 170 Hz, the horizontal lines appear. So while the price is fairly cheap, I don't think it's worth buying this monitor. I think many other monitors have better bang-for-buck and work better. So if you do purchase this monitor, I wouldn't expect it to last more than 1 year plus some change. ... show more
