  • Great Product if you need to do heavy video edit and gaming
It’s a great product, amazing for 2K gaming, great FPS, the side LCD its a nice touch, but if you are not going to do heavy video edition / production try the 3080 first, it’s smaller, noise level is better and the FPS almost the same. Doesn’t fit in the NR200, yes you can fit disassembling the case, but the general heat and noise is crazy. Had to bought a new ATX case. This card needs a lot of “breathable” space. ... show more

  • No Functional Software and very very poor Tech Support
Out of the box, no manual or quick start guide. Shooting blind to get it working. Gigabyte support no help. Couldn’t find anything on their site to help initial set up. The Gigabyte RGB Fusion software for controlling the RGB lighting and the LCD screen does not work on my system. Gigabyte support is virtually nonexistent but when you can get them they cannot make it work. Been months now waiting for them to fix their software. My LCD screen just sits there with that stupid bird doing strange stuff instead of displaying my GPU stats like temp and frame rate. RGB lights are just static . Stay away from Gigabyte. ... show more

  • Scam Pricing
This card is currently (December 2023) selling for more than the card sold for on release (September 2020). Don't buy this card for this price. It's a great card, but this price is abhorrent.

  • Excessive, in a good way.
This GPU is an absolute beast. Please note that unless you are video editing/rendering or 4k gaming, you will probably not use most of what this card can offer. It rips through games at 1440p on Ultra and doesn't even break a sweat. Various GPU benchmarks placed this card's performance consistently within the top 5% of other users who tested. Temperatures were pretty decent after gaming/benchmarking - GPU temp stayed under 80c, with VRAM temps maxing out at 90c. Do not mine with this card unless you are going to watercool it, as thermal throttling immediately occurs. Even when maxed out though, the fans are not nearly as loud as I was expecting; in fact, they are quieter than my old Zotac GPU. It is a MASSIVE card, so you will need a big ol case to put it in. The LCD screen is a fun add on and even plays GIFs. The program that runs the LCD screen functionality (RGBFusion) is a little wonky though, so you may have to play around to get it to work properly on your computer. I had to put my computer to sleep after installing the GPU in order for RGBFusion to recognize it... This is Gigabyte's flagship GPU and probably one of the best 3090s on the market currently...and because of that, the price point is extremely high. The current MSRP for this card is $2250. This is too high in my opinion, since the reference 3090 made by Nvidia is a $1500 GPU, making this a 50% markup for very similar performance. But the other commenters talking about waiting until the price being lower than the listed MSRP are incorrect. Unless the manufacturer lowers the price (which in the current market of semiconductor shortages, miners, and scalpers is extremely unlikely), please know that you will probably never find this GPU cheaper than that. If you CAN find this GPU for $2250 and feel like blowing a ridiculous amount of money on one PC component, then yeah I guess I would recommend it then. ... show more

  • Died After 1 Day
Bought this card through a competitor to Amazon. Benchmarks were promising. Was in my rig for a literal day. Screen went black and the fans started going as fast as possible. PC wouldn't turn on after this. PSU protection was tripping. Replaced with my old card and everything worked fine using the same slot and power connectors. PSU is a Corsair RM1000x. I expected some sort of QA for the huge retail price of this card. ... show more
