After having to return a pair of runners that were incredibly uncomfortable my replacement search was focused on that one criteria. Although double the price of the item I had returned this pair of running shoes blew me away. Made of Merino wool - it's like wearing a comfortable pair of slippers. No need for socks . I have never written a review before but I must help spread the word to fellow diabetic sufferers. I first ordered a pair of merino wool shoes from their biggest competitor from New Zealand. I wore them for a few hours and soon realized that they didn't work for me. I then searched and discovered Giesswein. These shoes are over the top terrific. Only a diabetic understands the daily pain of foot pain. These eliminated that daily nightmare. Superbly built to retain shape and form, they have almost made me whole. I have one pair from 2019 - great shoe - perfect fit, great construction - quality rubber sole 2020 -> total garbage - one whole size smaller, fake plastic no grip sole, stiff shoe, clearly at least $40 cheaper construction.
