    • Sounds great, tube clamps are cheap.
Package arrived in 4 days (despite Prime shipping) in original factory sealed boxes. Install was a little tricky only because the stock exhaust is welded single piece. I ended up having to remove the driveshaft to shimmy the stock pipe out. Instructions are pretty straight forward, except for the part about bolting a hangar to the frame on the drivers rear side. I wish this was explained a little better, perhaps a small diagram showing placement and how the bolts/washers are supposed to go? I figured it out, but having it explained would have been better. My only complaint is that the tube clamps are cheap. I sheared one of them in the threads while tightening because it bound up. I had to run to O'Reilly's and pick up another one (they're $2.50 or so and made of better materials than the ones included). On to the sound....LOVE it. It's deep, throaty, and nice. It's not super loud, and at idle in the cab you'll hardly notice a change. Outside at idle you will definitely notice. As soon as you get on the throttle she sings. This was worth every penny. Also, Gibson has a mail-in rebate going on right now and you can get $50 back from this purchase, so it's even more affordable. ... show more

    • Holy cow! Super sweet exhaust
My husband bought this for me. It not only makes the truck sound super wicked. But my gas mileage has increase about 5-7 miles per gallon. And we know with gas prices these days that's very important. This item will pay for itself in no time. The assembly was very quick for my husband - although he's amazing in the garage anyway. We searched locally and to get the same thing would have cost about $200 more AND they would of charged shipping. This is probably my favorite purchase from amazon in that it truly is becoming a money saver and that it lets the boy inside this chick come out! ... show more

Wow. This is awesome. I put this on my2008 4.8 WITHOUT ACTIVE FUEL MANAGEMENT and she sounds great! Has a very nice rumble to it, and when you get on it, it roars. Not enough to make you hate it, but loud to where you will smile every time

Very happy with this cat back exhaust system. Didn't want anything fancy but wanted a good quality stainless system. Installed on an '07 Silverado Crew Cab LTZ by myself without any ramps. The hardest part was trying to remove the flange bolts from the stock headpipe. It took me about 3 hours for install. I wasted a couple of hours having to go to the store to purchase some new headpipe flange bolts after breaking one trying to remove. Fit was great, takes a little time to make sure the tail pipes come out of the back straight and in the same place on each side. Very happy with the sound too. Definitely recommend. ... show more
