Mine arrived new, in the packaging with all of the accessories. I installed batteries and tested the fan - it worked! I am a 5'10", 235# man and am able to get into the costume without too much of an issue. It is hot but once the fan is on the air flow provides some cooling. The elastic strap hole for the wearers face is too small for me. I would have preferred a larger hole with a draw string to cinch it down as described in the instructions/documentation. I tested wearing a baseball hat under the costume and pulling the bottom of the elastic under my chin and the top over the brim. This lets me see through the hole but does allow more than the normal amount of air to escape causing the head of the T-Rex to be a bit saggy. I've purchased a cycling cap which has a smaller brim that I can flip up and will try this. The batteries were able to run the fan for two and a half hours during an all hands Halloween themed staff meeting yesterday. Planning to wear this costume again Friday and will swap the batteries prior. All in all while not a perfect costume it does work. Can recommend. ... show more

Very disappointing my daughter was excited to wear this for Halloween as I put it on her everything seemed to fit except her head part it ripped when she tried putting her head in and the fan device did not work even with the (batteries) within the first 10 minutes I had to just take it off her. I put two stars because the design was great everything else unfortunately just didn’t work. ... show more

It was pretty cool until the motor started wigging out and the costume deflated at a 1/2 hour into trick or treating. Needless to say, we were disappointed.

Fabulous costume! The key was to try it on a few times before Halloween when I was not rushing. The head is tricky. Once I realized the inflation worked when I pulled it up like s hoodie. No problem. I am 5 ft 2, with many pounds to lose and I had no problem wearing this at all! No problems putting it on. It was worth the $80 I spent.. I wore it several hours, at s time, and again this year. I have another inflatable t-rex but wanted to get this one because of the head being visible. I got the item and the zipper was broken so I can't even use it. I need it for a special event and the replacement won't get here til the day of. How can something be shipped on a Sunday and delivered on a holiday but a replacement can't be processed and shipped on a holiday? Thankfully I have the other one that will have to do. ... show more
