  • My New Lifting Shoes
I purchased these primarily for my deadlift days at the gym. I thought the deadlift slippers were too expensive. The shoes are zero-drop and very flat. I ordered a 9.5 wide (the inside of the shoe says size 40 - guess it’s the European size). These shoes performed the same as my $115 zero drop cross trainers for the deadlift. Additionally, they are comfortable to walk around in. I also wore them to work. My biggest complaint is one of the shoes rubs my Achilles and it’s irritating with no show socks. A second observation is with sumo squats the knit top of the shoe allows my foot to slide over the edge of the shoe more than I’d like (this also happens with my expensive shoe). For the price, they are perfect for what I need. I love the pink as well. ... show more

  • Cheap sneaker for casual wear and some forms of exercise.
Size: 10 Wide Women/8 Wide Men Color: Gentleman White Gum
Appearance: I purchased the white with gum soles. They look a little more like slippers than athletic sneakers, that is to say they look very casual. They wouldn’t look out of place with sweat pants, but might look odd with jeans or slacks depending on which color you get and the situation Unfortunately these came with a slight stain in the fabric which was a reason I returned them. Comfort: they were thin, with minimal support, but should be relatively comfortable for those who are accustomed to minimalist sneaker, though they are less supported than more expensive minimalist shoes. I am not sure if I would wear them for a long walk on hard pavement. For exercise, these are probably most suitable for lighter resistance training, casual biking, walking, upper body resistance training, and activities that don’t require high amounts of force through the feet or rapid change of direction/ complex foot work. The reason for this is that the fabric body of the shoe is not stiff enough to keep the foot firmly in place, at least for me. The sole itself had a good deal of traction against a flat floor. Value: At the price, this is an Ok buy for something for light casual wear or for certain forms of exercise. ... show more

  • So comfortable!
Size: 7 Wide Women/5.5 Wide Men Color: Beige
The most comfortable shoe I've owned! Super thin just like I like. You can definitely feel when walking on gravel (which some of us weirdos like) But somehow cushioned enough to wear on concrete floors while I'm working. I have mortons neuroma and haven't had any issues since switching to these shoes since the toe box is nice and wide, but not weird looking. Will definitely buy again! ... show more

  • Very comfortable
Size: 10 Wide Women/8 Wide Men Color: Classic Black Gum
The media could not be loaded. These are my very first barefoot shoes. My primary reason for getting these is to wear inside instead of slipper socks for chi gong practice. These shoes are light weight, flexible and very comfortable. I made the mistake of not thoroughly reading the sizing instructions. I ordered my normal size 10women probably should have gone a size up, as my toe is closer to the end than I would prefer. But even so, they are still comfortable. I will be ordering another color, sized up of course. These shoes are advertised as wide. My feet are somewhat narrow and flat and my toes naturally splay when standing barefoot. I have plenty of toe room in these shoes, but not excessive Those with wide feet might want more toe space. The heel feels about average width on me. The mesh uppers are thicker than I imagined, and so they are a bit warm on my feet. I just received them, so I can’t speak to actual durability, but on close inspection you can see the glue in the seams joining the upper and sole. I doubt these will hold up to hard wear for very long, but considering how inexpensive they are, I’m sure they will be fine for my purposes. Update: I did order a size 11 women and my toes don’t touch anywhere! These feel much wider than the 10, such that my feet move around in them too much. So be aware that as you go up in size, the shoes get wider in addition to longer. Now I have decide between much too wide, or slightly too short. ... show more

  • Awesome Barefoot Training shoe at 1/4 price
I train a lot of weights and do it barefoot. I have a wide foot. I find socks do the trick for everything, so all my training for lower body is without shoes. But I’m doing a Deka competition and need shoes for the event. I tried running through it with running shoes and my feet hurt. I also lost my balance in reverse lunges wearing a runner. I can not do lunges, or any weighted lower body anymore in tennis shoes. Which is great, because they mess up your form. So I started looking at Zero shoes, but they are $140. I figured I would give this a try. I Love them. 1. Fully Barefoot Feel: It does not affect my toe or foot grip at all, I have full movement AND they stay on. Very close to the feel of a sock. 2. Feel: They have a very thin insert that easily comes out. Even with the insert I can feel the ground and there is no stiffness in the sole. Without the insert, you are as close to barefoot as you can go. 3. Grip: The grip is great, no slip at all. It has more grip than normal tennis shoes. 4. General Sizing: It’s cut somewhat big. My foot measures a women’s 8.5. I usually wear a 9 and 9.5 for running. I ordered the women’s 9, I have a lot of room, but my foot is still secure. It laces well without compressing the instep, but keeping the shoe on. No sliding. 5. Price: The price is amazing. For those of us with a wider food who want to train barefoot, this is an amazing option. 6. Training Cardio: Still functional for assault bike, rower etc. Stays on, but you can feel the pedal through the shoe. I biked outside, and trained in them. 7. Sizing Advice: Do not worry about the lack of the 1/2 Size. I think I could order the smaller size and still have room for it to be comfortable. It fits as a 9.5 ... show more
