This tool is awesome. It removes hair easily with no irritation. My wife used it on her face and legs with no issues. She tried it on the bikinni line but sadly, the hair was too thick. I was rather shocked, but the Germantique Crystal Hair Eraser worked exactly as they said it would. Just rub in a circular motion and the hair goes away (grinds into a dust that you can blow away). It didn’t hurt, was really easy and almost soothing. All the hairs don’t all come off at once – so if you are a perfectionist, it can be easy to go overboard – I overdid it on one of my arms trying to get every hair off and ended up with a light rug burn. Not terrible, I think if I do use this to "shave" I'll just do most of it and clean up strays with tweezers. ... show more

The hair eraser is a neat gadget. It's formed to hold with a firm grip, without making the hand hurt. The nano glass takes off the hair pretty easy without strain. I make sure to clean it after each use, to keep it clean and free of germs. It hasn't rusted on me, and it hasn't discolored at all. The hair on my arm doesn't grow fast. So, at the most, I've used it a couple of time. So far, so good though. I have no complaints. It's a great eraser. I'll continue to use, for sure. ... show more

    • Great exfoliation, but hair removal not as good epilating

The exfoliation is top notch with this. It's got a great surface area so you can do big areas well; however, tight spaces, or curvy spots (think like the kneecap) are harder to treat. Hands are hard, too, because of how unsmoothe those areas are, in relation to how flat the surface of the tool is. I have a history of years of epilating and waxing, so I have plenty of experience with abuse to the skin. The first time I used this, after a few hours, the skin was showing irritation anywhere that I put pressure (like laying my arm across my lap). This is faster than epilating, and faster/cleaner than waxing, however, hair regrowth is more like that after shaving. A few days after using this, my arm hair is already starting to come back in, so it doesn't seem to be removing below the skin, or at the very least it is not completely pulling the hair out at the root like an epilator. When I say I was skeptical, I mean...I had zero hopes that this was truly painless or really worked. Oh, my gosh. Not only does this work, but there is zero pain, no pulling, and it exfoliates in the process. Skin is left so baby soft smooth, even more so than when shaving. No nicks or bumps. I have sensitive skin, and this wasn't an issue at all. It was a bit trickier on the rounded parts, like the knee and ankle, but definitely worth it! Highly recommend. ... show more

I’ve been wanting to try one of these crystal hair removers and this one seemed like a good fit. It is on the more expensive side for this type of product, but it seems worth it. I should temper this review by saying I’m not a very hairy person. I shave very infrequently and the hair that goes back is thin and patchy. But with just one use, this crystal remover simply and easily removed the hair on my legs and left the skin baby smooth. The bonus was the exfoliating effect. After using some thick lotion, my skin is soft, supple, and smooth. By definition an “epilator” should pull the hair out by its root. I don’t think that’s happening with this—it seems to just be scraping the hair away. Either way, it does the trick and is much easier than shaving. I’m a fan. ... show more

I was impressed by this at first. Then, I ended up with the worst case of razor burn that I've had in my life. Even worse than shaving over a sunburn. I have sensitive skin and do not recommend

    • Mixed feelings about this tool!
It's really hard for me to rate this. I had a great initial experience with it but had some issues in the days that followed its use. The good: this product does what it says it says it will do. I used it on my legs as recommended and it removed the hair and dry skin. My legs felt and looked wonderful after finishing. The bad: the following day, my legs were extremely red and irritated. I had small welts in some spots and abrasions in others. My legs itched horribly for about a week post-use. I had to purchase a bottle of calamine lotion and use it several times a day for relief. Perhaps it was user-error. I didn't feel like I use using it with too much force, but I may have been. I also have sensitive skin, so it could just not be a great solution for me. If you purchase, I'd just say be very gentle when using. ... show more
