We have bought these filter replacements several times now. Very happy with the performance and quality. They filter out most of the dust and pollen from the room without effecting the airflow through the unit. We change the complete set once a year although I'm sure that we could probably get away with changing the charcoal portion less frequently and just rinsing it off. But since they come in a set we just change the whole thing at once.

No issues with the filter or replacement. I have to say these things along with the machine are doing a good job with keeping the air clean. I do like to vacuum the prefilter about once a week or every other week minimum just to see how much dust it pulls. It's unbelievable. I have bad allergies and I think these are keeping them at bay. I have a few flare ups year round but nothing major like i used to have.
