Beautiful, sturdy luggage.....However be aware that the dimensions listed are NOT accurate. States height, "including wheels/handle" is 21.5 inches. Suitcase arrived yesterday, and height is clearly 22.5, with wheels/handle. We are traveling via Aer Lingus in September and carry-on MAX height is 21.5 inches.....I have searched far and wide for a carry-on that fits this requirement (yet still maximizes allowable space) and thought I found it....Sadly, dimensions are inaccurate and we must return the product.

Update: since I first review below, costumer service got in touch with me to try to make this right and sent me a new bag. However it’s not the same bag that I ordered… Previous review…. I bought this bag a month and a half ago. It’s gone through airport security 2 times, and this has already happened to it. It’s not put together the best. Very disappointed with this bag. Especially for the price. I actually opted for this one because it was more expensive and I thought it would be better made.

First off, I have had bad experiences with incredibly cheap hard sided luggage in the past- you get what you pay for, a couple I have used over the last few years have broken- bad quality plastic for the shell, and a wheel fell off of one. When I needed a new carry on, I decided to take it up a notch and spend a bit more money on a nicer piece, and I am glad I did! I'm also an organization nut, and love to pack neatly- when I discovered Genius Pack, I decided to try it. I've been very impressed, it's high quality luggage, well built, with what seems so far to be very nice hardware. The spinner wheels in particular are incredibly smooth, and the handles on the top and sides are super comfy. The retractable handle is more solid than on most carryon luggage I've seen. I also like the big #10 zipper, it seems very rugged. While maybe not the lightest luggage on the market, it's still very light. As for organization, it has several pockets each labeled with cool icons for specific items, and a separated compartment for laundry. I don't like undergarments and socks in particular being randomly tossed into my luggage, so having pockets for these is great. About the only complaint I have is that the sock pocket could be larger, it didn't hold many pairs, but this is a small quibble, not enough to knock the rating down a full star. All in all I am very pleased with the purchase! One final note, I had to check the bag on an overfull flight, and the white got a little scuffed (visible in the photos), but apparently they're coming out with a black version.

This is an awesome bag! After a disastrous trip to North Carolina involving and overweight bag, I was determined to shop for a compact piece of luggage and travel carry-on only from now on. I researched and read reviews for several carry-on sized, hard sided luggage and came across Genius Pack. It is lightweight (only slightly over 6 lbs) and had an interior pouch for organizing items. On one side, you can store your dirty laundry or place more items in this space. I ordered the bag in white. I received my luggage boxed and packed nicely. I was surprised at how much space was available inside of this suitcase! I was able to pack everything I needed for a 5 day trip to California, including three pairs of shoes! The interior pouches came in handy for storing my power cord for my MacBook, makeup bag, belt and workout gear. Combining the built in organization of the suitcase along with packing cubes truly maximizes the space! I was able to roll the bag effortlessly through the airport and it fit nicely in the overhead compartment with no issues. The hard side luggage prevents you from overstuffing the bag, which for me, was a plus. My white bag did sustain a few scuffs but most of them were easily removed with soap and water. I'm going to try using a magic sponge when I get home on the remaking scuffs.

Excellent quality. Had previously bought a different brand that “said “ it was carry on size but after receiving discovered that it was about two inches to tall (for Southwest anyway) so had to go to the hassle of returning. After researching better we discovered this to be the case with most so make sure you do your research. This brand/bag is the perfect size for overhead bin and the quality is excellent. The labeled compartments came across as gimmicky but if you ignore the labels they really are handy. We like this so much we ended up getting a second one.

I ordered the 21" Genius Pack right before a trip to Europe. I was attracted to the organizational features that they had designed into this Suitcase. It did not disappoint! I loved the laundry section as this allowed dirty clothes to be separated from clean without being bunched in a laundry bag. The pockets were useful on the divider tab as well, although what is true from other reviews is the pocket labeled for socks is really too small for that purpose. I just re-purposed it to something more useful to me. The suitcase is the maximum size that meets international carry-on requirements which was important, and it had no problems with European carriers such as Easy Jet. It has only been on the one trip, but handled everything like a champ. It did get checked in baggage at one point and suffered no blemishes. Time will tell, but for right now I'm very happy with the purchase!

loved this thing, in fact bought two of them. i grabbed the handle to move the suitcase and the handle broke off one of its points of attachment! the airline attendants had a heck of a time handling this thing and nearly caused a catastrophe getting it down from the overhead bin. it's LESS THAN TWO YEARS OLD. suitcases last many years don't they? sometimes generations?... at least they used to...we're contacting the seller but so far no response. well, it's now over 48 hours since I wrote to the seller. I guess they have little regard for the integrity of their product lines, in contrast to what they say on their website: GeniusPack. I'm not a fan. But hey, maybe someone else will have better luck and the handles won't break off and your trip won't be a hassle. Best...
