This kit is great! I bought this kit to service an older Gaurdian 15KW portable unit, M# 0045821, with the 992cc engine. It includes a genuine Generac 070185E lube oil filter which is an extended/upgraded filter from the 070185B filter that the manual calls for. It also includes a genuine Generac 0D9723 air filter element (The cost of the air filter by itself is more money than this kit which really makes this kit a no brainer). The kit also includes 2 genuine Champion RC14YC4 spark plugs. This part I am unsure of... The manual calls for RC14YC plugs gapped to .030”. I think the RC14YC4 plug is supposed to be gapped to .040”. I’ll have to do some homework on that and update. The kit also includes a packet of stay-bil which will tossed right into the trash, because, well, that’s all that stuff is, but that’s another discussion. It also appeared to contain a shop towel or something but I was distracted by the fact that there were genuine parts in this kit for this price. This makes it easier to get my customers what they want at a better price. Edit: I called Generac to double check on the spark plug number & gap. The RC14YC4 plug supersedes the RC14YC plug, however, the plug gap in this case, stays at the .030 that the owner’s manual calls for. ... show more

I bought this kit for a GP1750 generac generator. Everything fit just as expected. The kit includes everything pictured: the oval filter, the oil filter, the cardboard funnel, the two spark plugs, and the fuel stabil. This is the first maintenance kit that I have purchased and so far so good. It's been a few weeks since I installed the filters and spark plugs and everything is still running great. I'm using these on a generator that is used several times a week and haven't had any problems with the items yet. It came in a Generac branded box so don't hesitate to buy. Another reviewer mentioned that he didn't receive a spark plug wrench. I did not either, but the current product photo and description do not imply that a wrench is included and I was not expecting one. I was not able to find the spark plugs locally so I bought this kit off Amazon instead. ... show more

    • A great generator maintenance kit for the money
I bought this kit for my Generac GP 17500 portable generator I bought at Lowes in 2007. I have always performed a yearly maintenance on this generator which continues to work great after all these years. Maintenance is the key. The kit I bought included one air filter, one large capacity orange Generac oil filter, a paper oil funnel, a package of Stabil gas stabilizer additive, and two Champion Spark plugs. These items bought individually would have cost me around $45 as they have in the past without the Stabil. This is for sure a Great deal to purchase for the spring maintenance on your generator. ... show more

    • Great kit but it does not come with the Sta-bil fuel additive or funnel.
Everything was original OE parts and fit great but the ad says it includes Stabil fuel stabilizer and a funnel but neither one was in the box.
