Purchased this product in a whim, hoping it would work on the caulk on my shower, and BAM!! This little bottle made the mold disappear, completely, gone, poof, buh-bye. Since then I improved the ventilation in my bathroom by installing an exhaust fan that run continously on low then high when it detectes someone, but whenever there is mold developing anywhere else... BAM! It's D-E-D dead! Clothes washing machine where the detergent is placed, you know the tray, way in the back where water rests after every wash? BAM! The gel is clear colored, thick, works best when applied to the dry surface, has a slight smell of bleach, but I don't find it overpowering, let the product sit for a few hours and BAM! Worked great! This easily removed mold on the caulk in my shower that I have been trying to removed in various ways for over a year. I followed the directions - applied the gel to the mildew corners (which were vertical and the gel stayed put) and left if for 5 hours. Then I simply wiped it away. No scrubbing. It worked pretty well. I let it soak over night on my shower door frame and most of the mold was gone in the morning. It did not seem to corrode the aluminum frame. Not perfect but easy to use. The grout in our shower had mold on it that didn't come off with regular cleaner - after the first (generous) application and letting it sit for 4 hours it's totally clean. I have lived here in an apartment that is old for 5 years. The joint between the toilet and floor has always been rusty looking. I had maintenance check it out for leaks (for which they did nothing) but had them re caulk it, and it looked great for about a month. Then the discoloration returned! Anyhow, I used this product easily (I am almost 80 years old with limited use of my knees)! I followed instructions and closed off the bathroom since I have a cat. After a few hours, I checked. Look, this stuff works. If that was the only thing that mattered in this review, it would get 5 stars. But there's some MAJOR false advertising. This product is basically chlorine bleach in a gel solution sold by some sketchy Chinese company claiming it's made with *magical* enzymes. Whatever. It's bleach. And it's a dangerous and potentially tile-damaging lie. For one, it's a pain in the rear to clean off--another lie. They said it was easy. It's not. You'll need a scrub brush and a lot of patience. And two, because of this, people were using vinegar to clean it off. DO NOT MIX VINEGAR AND BLEACH. It will release chlorine gas and can kill you. Vinegar does the same thing ammonia does with bleach. What's more, bleach is bad for grout. If you're like me and the grout is super old anyway and your landlord has never replaced it, then it doesn't matter. But if you care, perhaps consider using it only once or look for another product. I've also noticed that some of the mold has come back after about two months, but it's still much better than it was. I have a full bottle that I'll use to do touch ups. So overall, I'm still using it because it works and I like the white grout instead of mold. If you're down with a bleach gel that will get the job done (my shower/tub was BAD) go for it. Prepare like you would while using bleach. Wear a mask, gloves and clothes you don't care about. Be careful where you step after standing in your shower. But for the dangerous lies and dishonesty, this product gets 3 stars. ... show more

I saw this stuff on Facebook and was skeptical. It’s pretty pricey but let me tell you.. IT WORKS. My shower and tub were extremely filthy. I put this on all over the tile grout and caulk around the tub. I let it sit for 6 hours but everything was clean after 3!!! It usually takes me 2 or 3 hours to clean the shower and tub but I was able to do it in an hour because all that was left was scrubbing the tub and tile. The grout and caulk were already clean. If nothing else, this will allow you to re-caulk around the tub less often. I’m very happy with this product. The only reasons I’m not giving it 5 stars is because the entire upstairs smells like bleach now and it was expensive compared to other cleaners.
