After trying many, many products to remove the black mold/mildew stains on the grout and caulk in my shower, I had not expected this to work either. I really tried it in desperation. In fact, I was planning to remove and replace some of the grout and caulk. As a test, I squirted the gel on several black stains on the caulk and grout. Within 20 minutes, they began to fade and were completely gone when I checked back after 2 hrs. Today I went back and applied it to all the black stains. And they are all gone. Just want all to know that this stuff is amazing. I had tried many different things to clean my clear caulk in the shower. I saw the ad and bought this stuff. It arrived and I wiped the surface in the shower to make sure it was dry, put the stuff on all of the mold and within 2 hours a third of the mold was gone! I mean it as if it just disappeared. I wish I had taken pictures of the before. Last time it was this bad, I removed the shower sliding door, scraped the caulk off, reinstalled the braces and sliding door. Took half of the day. I did not do anything this time, but apply this stuff. Awesome!!!! The smell is not that bad... I will be buying more to clean the basement shower. ... show more

Omg, I'm a believer! Its like magic! I now have a new shower tube! I had mildew that was starting to build up in my tube. I was so tired of seeing it everytime I shower, I was getting to ready to strip the caulk off and recaulk the tube. Came across this with great reviews and figured hey, it's $10 plus, if it doesn't work plan A. Put some in the shower. Left to work and came back to a brand new tub in a few hours! OMG, I CANT EVEN BELIVE MY EYE! I haven't wash the product off my tube (you can clearly see its still there) but no more mildew! If I can give this product a 10 star, I would! The window in my shower/tub combo was getting really, really gross. I could not find a cleaning product in my local grocery store that made any sort of difference, so I decided to try this. I put a generous amount of gel on problem areas and let it sit for around six hours, then wiped it away. This worked better than I could have ever hoped! I wish I had taken before photos so I could have posted the comparison but the mold COMPLETELY disappeared after leaving the gel to sit for 7 hours while I was out of the house. The smell was not at all overwhelming before I left.

By far the best mold removal gel on the market. Live in the North East where humidity is crazy and my showers keep getting mold. This gel is so powerful that it works on the first go around. Look, this stuff works. If that was the only thing that mattered in this review, it would get 5 stars. But there's some MAJOR false advertising. This product is basically chlorine bleach in a gel solution sold by some sketchy Chinese company claiming it's made with *magical* enzymes. Whatever. It's bleach. And it's a dangerous and potentially tile-damaging lie. For one, it's a pain in the rear to clean off--another lie. They said it was easy. It's not. You'll need a scrub brush and a lot of patience. And two, because of this, people were using vinegar to clean it off. DO NOT MIX VINEGAR AND BLEACH. It will release chlorine gas and can kill you. Vinegar does the same thing ammonia does with bleach. What's more, bleach is bad for grout. If you're like me and the grout is super old anyway and your landlord has never replaced it, then it doesn't matter. But if you care, perhaps consider using it only once or look for another product. I've also noticed that some of the mold has come back after about two months, but it's still much better than it was. I have a full bottle that I'll use to do touch ups. So overall, I'm still using it because it works and I like the white grout instead of mold. If you're down with a bleach gel that will get the job done (my shower/tub was BAD) go for it. Prepare like you would while using bleach. Wear a mask, gloves and clothes you don't care about. Be careful where you step after standing in your shower. But for the dangerous lies and dishonesty, this product gets 3 stars. ... show more

It’s a great product. I gave it only 4 stars because it doesn’t go far enough. You will need to purchase 2 plod them to complete most jobs. But I haven’t found a better mold removed.
