On its long way from China the tool chest must have taken a hit with one lockable caster broken and another one bent which leaves the entire tool chest to be wobbly. Probably bad packing since the casters "dangle" unprotected below the pallet. Both, the seller ACME TOOLS and the manufacturer GEARWRENCH (APEX) are very unresponsive in resolving the issue.     • Expected better build quality
I like the design of the toolbox and its a nice size not too big or too small, but the box has some major issues. On delivery I inspected it quickly because I was at work, and signed the delivery form, then I had some time and I started to see the flaws the box had a couple dents not that big of a deal but the handle was welded crooked and I could not install it properly, I had to drill in new holes to make it straight. Also the shelves wouldn't fit right on the side without a bit of force. After talking to amazon we settled on a 25% discount on the box. I like the size of the box the most I would say. It fits a ton of tools! It’s not a box to have if you work in a tight shop because it’s so big and hard to maneuver in tight spots. The flat surface on the top is plenty big enough to throw parts on top of and tear apart/rebuild esc. I don’t use the charging strip because after a long day sometimes I just don’t feel like rolling it to the nearest wall outlet to plug up and charge all of my power tools at the end of the day. Over all I say it’s a good tool box for the money. If this tool box had snap on on it instead of gear wrench you’d be spending north of 4 grand. ... show more

Loved the amount of outlets on power strip but could have been placed in better configuration as they are all lined up side by side with little space in between. Seems very strudy havent been test the 1 ton wieght capacity. For the most part i bought it for the power strip and the wieght capacity.
