Description

Gear wrench 19 millimeter flexible X-beam combination ratcheting wrench. Ratcheting box-end needs as little as 5 degrees to move a fastener vs 30 degrees for standard box-end wrenches. Improved box-end strength. Surface drive design reduces fastener rounding. Flexible head on box end of wrench provides for multiple angles for better clearances in tight spaces. Open-end of wrench features gear wrench surface drive, which reduces rounding of fasteners and delivers 25 Percent more torque. Long pattern X-beam design provides for greatly increased torque and reduced hand fatigue. High polish nickel chrome finish From the Manufacturer Gear wrench 3-Piece pry bar set consisting of: 82208 8-Inch Indexing pry bar - smooth profile, 82210 10-Inch indexing pry bar - smooth profile, and 82216 16-Inch indexing pry bar - smooth profile. Gear wrench pry bars are indexable to 180 degrees for greater leverage with 14 locking positions for unmatch access. Long handle allows you to put the bar where you need it for best leverage. Mobile diesel mechanic for heavy equipment and fire trucks. I purchased my original pry bar about 10 years ago. The index mechanism finally failed on it. And it was probably my fault!! These things are GREAT!! Need a pry bar to put some pressure on something but can't quite find the one pry bar that has the right angle??!! This is it!! Push the button and change the angle and you can usually get it!! And they take the torque you can apply to the handle. I'm 6'5" and 250lbs. Both hands on the pry bar and my feet squarely supported for leverage and these haven't failed when I've been pulling all of my weight and then some on them. You do need to make sure that the button for indexing them is fully out when you use them. And every so often unscrew the retaining button with an allen wrench, take it apart and clean it out (yes, they do get dirty inside and need a little TLC every so often) and give it some oil. I purchased 2 more because every so often you need that extra pry bar with that certain angle to get the job done. These are great, awesome, and tough!! ... show more

Got a lot of use out of these. Great for the money. Downsides really are just: * The screws are not loctited in and have a poorly formed head. No key fits them cleanly. Tend to back out regularly so keep an eye on them. Especially if you are in a job where you're constantly moving a toolbox. * Warranty replacement. Not a lot of Big Box Stores carry these and there's no simple form on their website. You end up playing phone tag with terrible customer service via an 800 number. Been chasing a replacement for 3 months now. ... show more

While some have complained that these tools are not that strong I argue that it all depends on how/where you use them. If you're tying to lift the side of a building or roll your car back over it probably will fail you. However, if you use them in a realistic manner, in my case in the automotive industry, then it will do the job perfectly. Not to mention that the heads, albeit hard sometimes to move, are adjustable. So imagine if you only needed a small lever assist on something; you simply have to rotate the head and bam! it works. ... show more
