This includes a week long summer camp and 4 day winter camp. I have been using my chair as a makeshift table for my phone and watch at night, but I really wanted a table. I wanted something that would be lightweight, fold down fairly small, and sturdy. This table fit the bill perfectly. It’s easy to carry with to my chair. It’s small enough that it doesn’t get in the way when I share a tent with other leaders. It’s big enough to hold my daypack, chargers, flashlight, and phone and watch. It is very sturdy for my needs. I’ll probably always have less than 20 lbs on but I have no doubt it could hold more. This is the perfect bedside table for Scout camp. I wanted a sturdy, lightweight table for use with the folding chairs I bought for our RV. I was surprised at how sturdy it is and it has performed really well after several uses. It works perfectly for meals and drinks, my coffee cup didn't slide around at all. It opens and extends very easily and feels durable enough to last for a long time to come. I also really like the height of the table when fully extended. I would say it seems to be the perfect height for most standard size folding chairs and the table area is adequate for two people's plate and drinks for a meal. When it's folded up and the legs are fully retracted, it stores very nicely and is compact. I was able to fit it in a pretty small storage compartment underneath my RV. If I had to criticize it in some way, I would say that it doesn't feel strong enough to support a heavy load. For my personal use I can't imagine needing to use it for anything heavy but if you're intending to put say, a fully loaded cooler or something on top of it (which I didn't try) it may not support that kind of weight well. For general purposes and regular use though (meals, drinks, s'mores etc.), I'd highly recommend this table and am very pleased with my purchase. ... show more

Wow. I am very impressed with this table. My wife and I got it to use fishing and camping, to sit between our chairs so we would have good place to set phones and drinks. It is crazy lightweight,but very sturdy. Easy to setup and put away. Highly recommend this purchase.

Nice lightweight little table. Perfect for my purposes. Reasonably stable. BUT... the instructions are ridiculous. They are taped on the inside where you can see them. So you have to guess how to unfold it properly. When you finally see the instructions they are so poorly written that they are useless. I found a video online that made it clear how easy it is to unfold and refold the table. GCI should redo the instruction but this time try seeing things from the point of the view of a customer. ... show more

This is my second one. I just plain wore out my first one over the last 10 years or so. It folds down flat, and is easy to store and transport. The telescopic legs enable the user to store it in a smaller space. I use it for public performances, and in order to bring everything I need with me, my entire setup requires equipment that takes up as little space as possible, and keeps my setup times to a minimum. OMG. I live this portable compact folding table. I use it on my 19 ft deckboat when we stop for lunch. Holds well, I can easily store if under the front seat as it folds up well. Great value for the money. Every boat should carry one. No matter the size boat.
