I purchased this box for use with an engagement ring. The ring was several thousand dollars, but the case pretty much fell apart before I got to use it. Just happened to see this, and knew that we would be getting engaged on the beach, and thought it would be dark. The ring itself was absolutely beautiful and stunning, but in this case... when it was opened and the light shone directly on the diamonds.... the look on my girlfriend's (now fiance's) face was priceless. The ring was a sparkler, and with this lighted case in the semi darkness of the beach, she said: " Oh Wow, Oh Wow" and came rushing at me, before I even got to finish. Almost knocked me off of my 1 knee! The case held up fine on a transatlantic trip and everyone who has seen the ring inside the case was just amazed. For the cost of this case, you couldn't possibly go wrong. Guys, if you really want to seal the deal, and you already have a beautiful ring... buy this case - do not hesitate! I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this box is in person. My brother in law was proposing to his girlfriend and I told him " dont forget the light box!!!" I ordered this for him and it came the very next day. I thought the red would be a nice touch but woww, it was even more beautiful in person. The suede is very nice and classy! Really impressed with this ring box! It feels so luxurious with the black velvet and it has a great spring for closing that feels secure and heavy. The led works great and made the opal ring I got for my mother look so much more expensive and beautiful than in normal lighting conditions. I hope the led will last long enough until Christmas. The Ring Box is nice. But the box the Ring Box came in is White but Filthy Dirty! Plus the box the Ring Box came in doesn't fit. It's too big for the Ring Box itself This is supposed to be part of presentation when presenting the Ring Box it's self. I purchased one for my Daughter's Graduation Ring from a Different Manufacturer & the Box the Ring Box came in is Very Nice. Part of the presentation in Presenting the Ring Box in. Didn’t like the box I received from the jeweler when I purchased the engagement ring for my then girlfriend. Decided to upgrade and get a bit more fancy. The ring I bought was already quite shiny and sparkly, and the light in this box really emphasized that. Box is pretty good quality as well, and is a nice compact size. I will say, the light can be a bit bright and potentially take away from your ring depending on the type of ring so beware. I think if the light was just a tiny bit less bright, this would be 5/5.
