I like it. It's comfortable and warm. Just to be aware, the fuzzy sherpa lining is only in the core and hood, not the sleeves, but the sleeves still have a comparable thickness to the rest of the piece. The hood works pretty well for head warmth. The exterior feels more synthetic than cotton, which isn't a complaint, just a note. Can be used as a hoodie or a jacket depending on how the sizing works for you. For sizing context: I'm 5'9", 175lbs, and the medium fits me snugly. A tee or longsleeve T fits under it, but that's about it. If I wanted a bit of a looser fit to wear this over anything more substantial, I would've had to have gone a size up. I think I'd also be comfortable wearing this in a L, I just hope the M doesn't shrink, because out of the box its as small as I want it at my size. Good value for the $22 price I got it at. (edit: bought a second in navy blue. First was brown. May buy a couple more if the sales keep up.) ... show more

Both me and my sister got this hoodie and we are very happy with them (for the most part) and actually they are the best hoodies we have found in a great long while. The hoody is pretty spacious with two satin lined pockets (sadly without zippers) that are of an okay size. It is pretty comfortable (though I wish it was a bit roomier) but it really isn't stretchy in the least. The arms of the hoody are lined in only satin ( I wish they were also lined with insulation) and the arms have zero stretch because the satin isn't stretchy... I really really wish the satin was stretchy (then the arms would be super comfy and leave you with a full range of motion and couldn't cause constriction)! The inside of the body and hood is lined in this super warm and soft plush blanketlike material that is like the softest stuffed animal fur (until it starts to get matted from continuous wear) which is super nice and keeps you toasty even after it shows signs of wear. I love the gray camouflage and black design/color because it goes with anything in my wardrobe being a bit dark and vaguely Gothic. Thankfully the hoody does not shrink at all even after repeated washing and drying. I think this is a great value and I would definitely get this again in many different styles/colors if they had other ones I like. I really wish they had various camo colors like purple and blue camo because that would be amazeballs. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice warm hoody but just advise you get one big enough so as not to constrict your arms. ... show more

I acquired this Gary Com Sherpa Hoodie as something I could throw in my truck, so I would always have something available while I'm in my vehicle. For that, it seems pretty decent. Though I haven't had the chance to use it in cold weather, the furry lining does suggest that it's probably up to the task of keeping some of the chill off of me. The hoodie also has the furry lining. I was drawn to the flannel design, which also looks pretty good in person. I tend to gravitate toward size small jackets, & this one fits me (5'8", 165 lbs.) just fine. ... show more

    • A great, warm coat that fits as expected

Firstly, I'm a big guy that wears 4x shirts. I'm also 6'3. In the variety of 4x shirts, some fit, some don't. I was worried this jacket might not fit well when zipped. I'm please to say this jacket fits amazingly well. It's not too tight anywhere even when zipped up. It's a jacket that fits and is warm, so pretty much exactly what I ordered and expected. Some things to note: 1) Sherpa is really freaking warm. If it's 30 degrees outside, this feels great. If its 60 or more, I'm sweating. 2) The sleeves are made of a smoother material that isn't sherpa. This has an odd, pleasing cooling effect that balances the heat. 3) While the jacket fits, the hood does feel overly large, but you can't have it all, right? 4) There are pockets where you'd expect but that's it. There are no inside pockets and no other pockets outside of the typical left/right pockets. They're reasonably deep so I'm not worried about anything falling out. 5) I had to pick a color motif that wasn't my first choice. Despite that, the charcoal, blue, white design looks better than it does in the picture, though, I'd have preferred a darker, more solid color. I chose this design based on time constraints...I needed a jacket fast. 6) Speaking of needing it fast...the item was scheduled to arrive via prime shipping on Sunday. I ordered Saturday for a trip where I'd leave on Wednesday early am. The jacket was late and didn't arrive until Weds. Amazingly, it wasn't stolen from my porch so a big hurray for human decency! All things told, I'm giving it 5 stars. I needed a winter jacket reasonably priced. This works. No complaints. ... show more

    • Crazy-Long Sleeves but Comfortable
Here's the bad: - I am a female that normally wears a 3X. I ordered the 4X so that it would be a bit baggy and extra roomy. It fit great with the exception of the sleeves, which were monstrously long. I would say that the amount of sleeve length between the end of my hand and the sleeve cuff was nearly six or seven inches, meaning that the sleeves are so long that rolling them up is next to impossible. Here's the good: - The jacket, with the exception of the sleeves, fit great. I would say that it runs about one size small, though. As I mentioned, I normally wear a 3X but I ordered a 4X with the intention of having a roomier experience. However, this jacket, while not tight by any means, was not extra baggy or roomy. So, just know that you will most likely need to order a size up. - The jacket seems to be sturdy and good quality. I especially love the soft fleece inside, which keeps me at a nice neutral-to-warm temperature, but thankfully does not overheat. The takeaway: - Order one size up. - The sleeves will prevent you from wearing this out. - The material inside and out is soft and comfortable. ... show more

I love this coat. It's not too heavy but it's warmer than just a rain jacket or something similar. Very soft. Perfect fit. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for comfortable but warm.
