You can fit an AT Pro if broken down into all 3 sections. Garrett, if you are listening, if you simply added a second zipper you could zip them up to the middle and let the metal detector stick out the top in two sections, along with a short shovel. With only one zipper, I'm forced to spend a little more time breaking it down into 3 sections. Also, the 2nd water bottle pouch is better used as a shovel strap. I simply cut a hole in the bottom of it to make a shovel strap. I would have been happy to spend another 10 bucks to get those two features, along with a little padding, but it still works just fine for my casual short hikes for the price. ... show more

    • I wasn't as impressed with this bag.
I wished I had seen it in the store before I purchased it online. It is pretty skimpy and there are no pads for the harness. The bag is just flimsy and when I load it up with a broken down detector for a hike I find that the parts of the detector are grinding into my back. I might put some kind of barrier inside it to keep it more firm but right now I just ended up using a regular backpack that I had around the house and this one is collecting dust.
