  • Yup. It works.
What is there to say? It’s the upgraded version of the classic Speed/Cadence 1 sensors. Installation is a snap (literally in the case of the axle-mounted sensor) and no calibration needed. It connects instantly to my phone (Strava) or cpu (Garmin unit). I have no idea if it is better or worse than the Wahoo units, as they seem to be identical,l in nature. I’d buy whatever is on sale at the time - and it seems like these tend to be on sale (10-17%) on a reasonably regular basis. They’re incredibly useful, and are an indispensable part of training. If you’re trying to develop a good baseline performance level, this is likely a good first step to establishing your baseline numbers. ... show more

  • Garmin Sensors OEM
They're the perfect pairing for a complete Garmin system. The rear hub install was easy but the crank arm install was a bit challenging being the band to secure the sensor required a lot of tugging and stretching with a tool (prying) to install on the Sram Red Carbon crank arm.

  • Awesome!
Works awesome with my Edge 1030. Instant connectivity. Just be careful with the battery tray--I ripped my battery out with a white strap, but that white strap is meant to stay in there to help easy removal later on. Keep that in mind. Not the end of the world though. Would recommend this over Wahoo.

  • Finally splurged on this replacing 7 year old tech
I finally broke down and bought this bundle after my original (7 years old) speed sensor finally pooped out. I wasn't worried about installing the cadence sensor on the crank, but I was worried about installing the speed sensor on the rear wheel hub. The bundle came with three rubber 'bands' for the cadence sensor. Finding a spot was easy. Finding and looping the band around was not. Took me about 10 minutes. Next came the speed sensor. The band is already mounted to this sensor, so you don't have to worry about connecting TWO sides of the band. This was actually much easier than I thought mounted in two minutes, and I didn't break a spoke. Connecting the sensors to my Garmin Edge 530 was easy - the unit found both sensors after spinning the crank twice, and then I selected my preferred view (10 windows). I'll test the sensors later today during a ride, but at least the install was easy. ... show more
